because of the quarantine, i had my screen protector shipped and am installing it on my own for the very first time!!! and it was 100% sucessful!! it was a little off-centre but NO BUBBLES!! in my 30 years of living, its the first time i had to put on a protector on my own and wow. i feel good!!
0:20 Before you stick the guide stickers onto the screen protector, ADJUST the position of the screen protector so that it fits the screen (and camera openings) perfectly. Then hold it down tightly, THEN sticker it down.
How did you install it without bubbles.. I bought but I am afraid to use it because I never did it myself and I don’t want to get bubbles + how does it work with Apple Pencil?? Does it work smoothly?
Elena Jo Yeah, I had the same fear, I install it after one week I bought it, because I’ve never be able to avoid bubbles. But this time it works great, just follow the video step by step. The Apple Pencil works smoothly too.
Wish I would’ve watched this video prior to installing my first protector. Watched this and it went on with ZERO issues. No bubbles, no dust, no fingerprints. Just follow the video exactly. Step. By. Step.
I just completed this installation on my new iPad Pro 12.9" and it went perfectly. I did make sure to center the protector before applying the hinge stickers, which work fairly well (but you still need to be careful during that final drop). I also used a good flashlight while hunting down dust specks.
That’s the most important part of the installation, second is the alignment. Beter use a tool if available, something like a frame. With the newer iPads it’s lots more difficult because no homebutton and less visible microphones. Quit hard to do with such a big screen.
Pretty easy to install, although the stickers came off when I put the glass down on my ipad pro. Aligning the protector went well nevertheless. Good video instruction. I had to lift the glass a few times to remove bubbles, but it was the first time I applied a screen protector, so ovrall I am happy with the result now as there are no bubbles and no dust anymore :)
Can’t lie, I watched this video after applying the protector. I followed zero of the instructions, just cleaned the screen and stuck the thing down. It looks completely fine. So if you’re worried, don’t be.
Installation fine, but the little red "please peal off" sticker was really hard to peel off, and left a glob of glue upon which I had to use Goo Gone. Not my idea of a clean install.
Came here AFTER putting my protector on my new IPad 7 - 10.2". Could not figure out why you put in the instructions to put some hinge stickers on the back of my device so I did not do that but it went alright anyway. I just lined it up as well as I could and applied the glass. Now I can see why you put that in the instructions. The instructions are not really as clear as I would have liked. I have put protectors on my phones before and had an idea how it is done beforehand.
I’m glad I looked here. I just put the screen protector on and it went pretty well. I will buy one for the iPhone too now that I see how nice it is. 👍🏻

Thank u, awesome product... if there is bubbles u lift the tab very slowly and carefully and very slowly and gently place it back down and it will be flawless...I saw bubbles and was like well it’s ruined but you can fix it ... use manual and this vid
Well, the second application went well. I followed the instructions to the T on the first application but the protective film was on the wrong side. So then trying to switch it to the correct side (not the side shown in video) I ended up getting dust and items on it and I couldn’t use it. So that first one ended up being a waste. When I went to take the protective sticker off, I realized it was in the outside where all the hinge stickers were attached so I couldn’t pull it off. :( So with the second one I ended up following the instructions but I had to switch everything to the other side. So look first to see how they have the protective film on because it may not match up with the instruction booklet and video. I had to put all the hinge stickers on the left side of my phone and the screen protector on the left coming over to the right. Once I had everything cleaned, then I was able to peel off the protective film, then I used the lifting sticker to pull it over from left side and bring it to the right side situating it on top of my phone. It would have been a flawless application of the protective film would have been on the correct side. Love the privacy of the dark screen too!
@@seher3985 I'd say "Just Use It". I've not bothered with a protector and I can't see any scratches. If you shine a light on it and get a magnifying glass then maybe you will but nothing you can see, especially when it's turned on. Imo it's like people who buy a new sofa and leave the plastic on. If you're like me and you look after your tech, you won't have a problem. If you drop it, let 5 year old kids walk off with it and think it's cute when your cat is biting it then DEFINITELY get a protector 😅
So, I've got the bubbles in the middle that won't move. Evidently have invisible dust particles in them. I need to start over, how do I remove the protector? They're right in the middle so I cannot live with them.
If anyone didn't know like i did, that transparent pocket it comes in is not part of the instructions. Take it out of that sleeve. Spent a good 15minutes scratching my head. My only regret which I will be patient to see if the dust doesn't leave those few bubbles. But otherwise, its not just good to apply the alcohol, but make sure its wiped clean with the rag, then use that damn blue thing once over to get any dust but all of a sudden you'll see them just pop up as bubbles with a tiny dust particle.
How can I remove the old screen? The first one I installed about 2 years ago crashed and I just got a new one, But I don´t know how to take it off to put the new one.
This installation visual is excellent. The stickers that came with my JETech screen protector were too removable, though, and really didn’t function as intended. One hinge sticker came completely unstuck during the final placement of the protector. That started a series of mishaps that led to bubbles. Had to start completely over. Several times. Not ideal, to say the least. Finally got it installed with just one very small bubble in the upper left. This is not my first rodeo, by any means, and I’ve never had this much difficulty installing. Don’t recall what brand(s) I’ve used previously, but the stickers always actually stuck to the protector the other times, so as long as I’d positioned everything well, the process was fairly simple.
Does anyone know what he used to pick up the dust before he puts the screen on? I see that there are dust stickers to pick it up but I’m not sure how he folds it together to pick it up like in the vid
I followed ALL the steps but it just didn’t turn out so well for me so I just have to place it on by myself without those sticker thing because it keeps on falling
followed the instructions but when i lifted a corner to remove a piece of dust, the corner deformed and now there is a permanent bubble of air trapped under it 😬 so yeah, don’t lift the corners like they did - i did it gently and it still made a mess of things
tried this method yesterday.. And long story short it does not work. The guide stickers peal. Perhaps use sum packaging tape or duck tape..i don't know .. If you try this method and put a heavy 12.9 inch slab of glass next to it and try to flip it over .. it will fail.. i have no idea how these folks managed to do it.. ESR provides you with a plastic frame.. i'm going to give them a try and see if it works..
Mine went on fine, but the protector had 2 small areas that did not stick... I lifted a few rimes and those same random small circles would not stick. They were not air bubbles. I am very disappointed in this product.
Hice todo como en el video y bien, pero cuánto esperar para que se adhiera bien? Por que al apretar el botón de encendido del iPad se ve como si entrara aire entre el protector y pantalla.
Guys if you care about the tip of your apple pencil don't get this. I use my iPad at least 5 hours per days to study and write down notes. It consumed my pencil in a week and I had to change the tip.
Hat leider überhaupt nicht geklappt. Die beiden Aufkleber lösen sich zu leicht beim abziehen der Folie, habe 3 weitere Aufkleber genommen. Folie Nr. 1 zerschossen weil halt doch wieder Staubkörner unter die Folie kamen und man die mit dem kleinen Tuch nicht wegbekam. Im Gegenteil: So landeten noch mehr Flusen auf der Folie. Leider wird auch nicht beschrieben das eine gründliche Vorreinigung erfolgen sollte, da die Folie ja schon vor dem eigentlichen Aufkleben auf dem Bildschirm aufliegt. Wer also nicht sehr gut handwerklich begabt ist (ich bin es definiv nicht :-) sollte das jemanden überlassen der weiß was er tut. Habe zum Schluss auch gemerkt das es ohne die ganzen Helferlein sicher besser "per Hand" geht. Dieses Video auf jeden Fall ganz! bis zum Schluss gucken, da die bebilderte Beschreibung nicht so umfangreich und detailiert ist. Habe auch jetzt noch 2 Blasen auf dem Gerät die ich aufgrund von Staubkörnern nicht mehr wegbekomme. Bestell aber keinen 2. Satz nach. Fazit: Sicherlich sehr gutes Produkt das aber durchaus vorraussetzt das man das schon 5-6 mal gemacht hat ;-)
I prefer talking in the videos. Go slower please. When I peeled off the protector, the glass is sticky. It really bothers me. It is not glass, it is plastic.
I didn't know ow if I could do it be a case I was only a kid and never did it before and got the protector on d(￣◇￣)b💯ᵖᵉʳᶠᵉᶜᵗ and on attempt to 4 and got it so I showed my mother
