I had the pleasure of seeing Jethro Tull perform Thick As A Brick, live at The Royal Albert Hall back in 1972 and can truely say that I am impressed by the ability of these young people, and am EXTREAMLY happy that 40 years on there are people who appreciate the music that was created before they were born.

I sit here in Yorkshire England with a new passion for cover bands when it is done correctly. This is well worthy and Ian Anderson would be very proud that you are undertaking his complex compositions. Well done to all. Excellent job.

As a lifelong fan of Jethro Tull , since the early 1970's , first off let me say it's rare to even find a band with even the ability to attempt Jethro Tull , due to the complexity , time signature changes , etc. Every one of these kids are very talented. Milena is especially talented on the flute , she nailed every piece. Carlo , is a phenomenal drummer. Barriemore Barlow is one of the all time great drummers , and you did remarkable work Carlo !! At the age of 15 (60 now) I purchased the LP the day it hit the stores in early 1972. It didn't leave my turntable for months. In the beginning I thougt it was only the first 4 minuters they would play, but hooray,, the whole TAAB unfolded in a very good performance. You could critisise elements in the piece, but I rejoiced in the enthusiasm of the young musicians. I myself was 19 years old when the LP was released and I know it by heart. Exellent job. The most extraordinary cover of Jethro Tull I have ever seen on the Web or live anywhere. You make a seasoned musician like me wish he had it to do over again. Then I would attend the Berklee school of music and seek out musicians of your caliber and talent. You make it look easy (and it's not)! Fulfilling a dream of doing a live performance of Jethro Tull especially that album, has been my goal. So inspired by Ian Anderson was I, that I remained a dedicated flutist to this day at age 61. I still play his music for sidewalk cafes, coffee shops and ice cream shops for the nostalgic adults and parents who don't mind his provocative lyrics. You really did justice to side one and side two. That refers to the days when music came on vinyl records. "Thick As a Brick" was referred to as a concept album. That means rock artists of the day were competing to play non-stop on each side of the record to break away from the traditional way of recording music. No dead air between songs made the album go over big at beer and pot parties. Aside from all that, you picked a musical genius to perform and you can take that to the bank! Well done Berklee!!

9 years later I find this...It is amazing...okay TAAB side one is a feat in itself but to play both sides live is remarkable. I saw Tull back on the TAAB tour and they didn't even do the whole side 2. The acoustic guitar player nailed it. Kudos to the drummer the bassist and red organ , the real glue of the band, and that quiet dude on the piano in the back. But damn that young lady is great on the flute and is into it, and is cute too! I hope she is still playing today. I live on the north shore of Boston and would have driven in to the city to see this band if I knew about it at the time. Berklee should advertise or open these recitals to the public to promote the ART... BRAVO to this production !

Being a (very) long-time Tull fan, I just stumbled upon this the other day and was totally blown away. What amazing combined talent to be able to pull off this challenging masterpiece. The drummer, organist and bass player are exceptional; the xylophone/bells player, acoustic and electric guitarists, flautist and additional keyboard player are all very good. The weak link is clearly the vocalist, who -- to his credit -- still does a good job with the lyrics despite the obvious foreign accent. I see Carlo has gone on to a successful career in the LA area and hope whichever of you have also graduated continue to make great music. You made for an exceptional group, and got your timings all very well coordinated. I've listened to this several times through and derive pleasure not just from the music itself, but from seeing these talented young adults doing such a wonderful job and clearly enjoying themselves tremendously while at it. Best wishes to all of you!

WOW!!! - And I've been playing for almost 50 years... So I know greatness when I hear it! - I've seen the band "Jethro Tull" perform this song live three times (but never" "complete" like the version on this video), and other than the original band members; this is by far the best "Thick as a Brick" cover ever! For the musician's ages and experience levels at the time, they should all be way beyond proud of themselves, especially the floutist (or "flutist" in untrained music circles) , she was beyond fantastic, and super-close to Ian Anderson himself, and that's saying a lot! 😊 (I would love to hear you all do this song now that you've all "matured more on your instruments)!

back for more, folks. Have to say you all look so relaxed and enjoying this trip! All of you were so obviously prepared ahead as the performance progressed which really made for a seamless delivery. And after some research and thoughts, i have to say that Tull themselves have never performed this with the same level of detail from the original recording as all of you have. They, due to limited personel on stage, have had to take shortcuts. You really aced it! thank you!

This is insanely fantastic! I'm a huge Tull fan since my youth and was lucky to see them live in 1976 at the LA Coliseum. I'm also a musician relatively familiar with their music so I know how challenging their longer pieces such as Thick as a Brick are to play. The fact that you tackled the entire album amazes me!
