Jetline was an extreme steel roller coaster that operated at the amazing Gröna Lund amusement park in Stockholm Sweden between 1988 and June 2023, when it closed permanently following a fatal accident. The coaster was a collaboration of different companies with the ride being designed by Werner Stengel for Schwarzkopf, built by BHS and made by Zierer. It was then modified by Maurer! Video features a selection of off-ride shots of this intense and fun coaster in action, sadly no longer operating. Footage filmed during the European Coaster Club's Coolest Coasters tour 2003.

I love how it did a big out and back only to join up with the top of the lift hill of a traveling coaster.

@@davidjellis Right, but the main part was built like a traveler, after the initial out and back, including a curved lift. Contrast that with Revolution, at SFMM, that had almost all individual supports.

@@riparianlife97701 Agree, it is reminiscent of the big travelling Schwarzkopfs, but this one has never travelled. Its slightly older twin did have one relocation (from Japan to UK) but again was never a travelling coaster in the traditional sense (fairs etc)...it does resemble those big travelling rides though I do admit

Timing was deliberate...I saw the announcement this week and checked to see what footage I had that hadn't yet been uploaded. It was a great coaster, but totally understand the park's decision.
