Some interesting naval challenge Ideas for you: The best blue-water ships for AA in the entire game USS Alaska (best AA overall), USS Baltimore (Best CA AA Overall), USS Helena (best heavy AA), USS Gearing (best AA mobility), and USS Pittsburgh (best medium-heavy AA) *only* VS jets, a swarm of monoplanes, or an even larger swarm of biplanes. EDIT: USS Fargo (Best CL AA overall) An extension to that idea would be the US coastal vessel (USS Douglas) with the RIM-24A Tartar heavy SAM in whatever number you can get vs whatever floats your boat----or in this case sinks it. You could even add in the coastal vessels that are equipped with the AK-630 CIWS for some extra eye candy during the night battle. 💥 (MPK Pr.12412, MPK Pr.12412P, MPK Pr.1331M)

It would be interesting to see how this would play out if WT ended up getting modernized battleships. A little known fact about the Iowa class battleships is that they actively participated in desert storm, and were heavily modernized, including CIWS and better radar. Would never make it into WT unless the devs start actually giving a fuck, but it's fun to think about.

IMO the American cruisers would have been the best option. The Baltimore, Pittsburgh and, Alaska, Atlanta, Fargo would have been nice with their dense AAA coverage and also radar on some of them, you can lead HE-VT manually at upto 5km away

idk how in depth the game goes with it, but having all off the tracers, smoke stacks, large guns, etc I could be difficult for heat seeking missles. Almost like a sensor overload.

I feel like a lot of the pilots for these videos need a quick tutorial on a proper bombing run or missile/rocket/gun strafing run, the number of irrecoverable dive bombs is astounding. It is funny for the chaos round though. I'd really love to see a video on planes just using their guns, either gunships or autocannon strafing to see if that has any hope of effectively taking out ships.

I've been in custom battle once using bluewater ship against modern jet The key is to have the biggest survivability ship, such as scharnhorst

I have a feeling that something like the F4J, which can carry nearly 200 rockets, may be able to poke afew holes in the ships

Just like I said last time I’m not sure why people keep bringing battle ships to a air vs navel battle since there whole role as a ship is to engage other heavy ships not aircraft it would make way more sense to only bring cruisers and some destroyers since they are much better at taking out aircraft but cruisers are the best at this type of thing since they can take a couple of hits without going down unlike destroyers which with just one or two heavy bombs can take it out very easy while cruisers usually take 4 to 5 depending on where the bombs landed and how big it is and if they used the heavy AA better I’m almost sure they could have won easy since even when jets fly high the heavy AA is very capable of hitting them you just have to aim right plus the higher they go the more time you have to doge there bombs making flying super high no longer that effective so in conclusion I believe the navel player could have won if they played smarter and better but this was still a great vid anyway

The filming was certainly a mess, when the biggest problem is ticket bleeding (Due to deaths), at least it was funny 14:34: Welp that was a mistake on my part 16:23, 4th place, not bad, after spamming 2000lb bombs in an A10

I have to say you miss alot of good footage during the night battle. I barely see any perspective from the blue water ship player. And especially at night where the entire AA guns of a battleship along with her escorts roars out, it's a spectacle to see. Yet all you focused on is the perspective of jet players suiciding. I think we know the answer to the Jet vs WW2 ships (with some WWI era). But to see an entire fleet blazing their guns to form a wall and kill even a jet is impressive enough. To focus purely on Jets alone is so boring. Even a free cam like 9:22 seeing those ships spread out is far better than this. Yet it was already day time ;((

This is an interesting video and enjoy watching it. May I suggest a few scenarios? Coastal vs All Ground: The last two Naval vs Ground engagements were a bloodbath due to the disparity in firepower and protection but this might be a more even engagement. Although most ships will lack the firepower to reliably penetrate tanks, the large amount of big guns will result in lots of broken tracks and barrels, alongside light vehicles and some unlucky ones getting overpressure. Heli unguided weapons vs Coastal. Coastal ships would not last against Jets even if relying on unguided only but this could be interesting to see.

the present day jets like the F15 AND F14 AND F16 and A-10 and F-4 Phantom the various russian and british JETS and the french mirage variants and Harrier0 from the allied countries and all the german jets sunk some of the battleships that were at pearl harbor

Should have a set of planes go against the Baku Aircraft carrier maybe 2, the Baku has 8x CIWS turrets modeled onto the carrier, would be nasty to see how it fared against modern combat jets
