Deegan is here to stay. He’s proven he’s the one that has the POTENTIAL to challenge the 450 guys in the future. IF things continue to go his way. Go watch his CLT video where it showed RJ screaming like a little girl behind him during qualifying. I get playing mind games right back at Haiden, but that was freaking weird. Almost thought his wife threw his gear on and decided to go for a little stroll on track when I heard that. Just weird man. Those motos were so much fun to watch though. It’s clear now, he’s miles ahead of the 250 competition. NO QUESTION. Some people will and have said he pushed it as “hard as he could” during those races. Idk about the rest of you, but it looked fairly easy for him to do what he did. He has too much experience and too much top speed to always have to push it now. Like they said during the broadcast, he doesn’t have to panic, because he has the top speed and consistency to catch these dudes.
completely disagree when ricky says eli was at his best. this is a passionate eli that cant wait for the next weekend so he can race again. this is also an eli that’s coming off 2 back2back injuries. eli is working his way to being his best and his best is above jett. people are so quick to jump on jetts bandwagon, everyone will see how big of a mistake that is.
Jett is an animal! But.... i/we would have loved to see jett race eli in his prime.... as in any sport, especially now with social media.... the "greats" are forgotten very quickly. Jett is on the right track and is an amazing talent. But has some big boots to fill... hope the heavy hitters stay healthy. Can't wait to see what the next few years bring.
@@jeffreywengerd6527 Eli first Reed 1 min 47 seconds back in second when Eli was Jetts age, when has Jett won in the big class by 1 min 47 seconds??? Reed won championships and beat Stewart in races so yes he was fast. When Jett is Elis age he will be beat too. Also no one mentions this but Eli was at a disadvantage, his own fault but still it was he was running a scoop tire. If you think it was not a disadvantage then why did no one else run it????
After moto 2, when Deegs to his helmet off Deegs was not even sweating or out of breath, he looked like he didn't even race, and the next 2 races are going to be hot also. Deegs is 8 up. Levi is going to have to go 1-1, and Deegs totally blows up to overtake him. If Deegs goes a top 3 start, he's not going to get beat. They need to pad the walls. RJ screaming like a little girl and trying to eff with Deegs didn't end up well for RJ.
Deeg's is not one you can intimidate as he has shown he will destroy anyone who even looks at him the wrong way . He's impossible to intimidate and he has the skill to embarrass anybody stupid enough to challenge him.
I've said it for a coupe of years now, Haiden reminds me of RV!! That just all out aggressive riding style. Both were/are the fastest 250 riders on the planet. Got the RV style and the Cooper Webb mentality, Stewart's just send it lines and seems to be able to control a race very well. Will take something special or to go wrong for him to be beaten anytime soon
I totally agree. I like motocross way more than I do Supercross. They need to shorten the Supercross season and start the motocross season sooner. Just made two cents!
Deegs has the best sound bites ever. Deegs ran it on RJ rattled RJ, and it got to him, and he crashed the next lap. Deegs wants to be ready for A1. He said that before they picked him for mxon. Deegs doesn't make the call he is an employee, not the boss. Deegs doesn't need the mxon to make his carrier.
im a total Eli fan, and have been for years.....but sorry, Jett was just feeling it out.....Jett is WAY FASTER THAN ALL OF THEM!!!!!!....and that includes Eli.
In a perfect world, Supercross and motocross have tons of money, so then Supercross builds custom stadiums similar to baseball and football stadiums! They build 4 stadiums around the USA, one being in Southern California, one being in Pacific Northwest, one somewhere near New York, then somewhere in the center of the state, then also race Daytona!! Nice and separated but close enough for all fans and riders to travel! U make a 10 round series traveling to the 5 stadiums making the tracks slightly different! 10 round Supercross then 10 round outdoor series! 3 round Smx series for a total of 23 rounds! Boom problem solved
Looks like Malcom's (if it was locked) start forks never released. And it came down, and looked like a skier sinking into 3 feet of soft powder at high speed. Instant wobble.
If the top guys feel there is too much riding and the organizations are not willing to lower the amount of racing the solution could be to limit testing/riding on the mxbike. F1 has similar rule where you can only do few days of testing. Of course in moto you need to ride more to be in shape but lets say there would be a rule that top 20 in points can only ride one day a week during race season and riding/testing mx would not be allowed during November for example.
100% keep the playoffs, loose two rounds of supercross and one more round of out door, no need to have racing every week. As jet said try and build more anticipation in between races which intern will build interest and excitement and attendance at the races will be higher imo
What "epic" battle was R.C. talking about? Jett rode behind Eli for a little while and then a very quick pass for the lead ("see ya"). Not even one battle for the lead. Passed #3 on the fly, AROUND THE OUTSIDE OVER THE MOST DIFFICULT SECTION OF THE ENTIRE TRACK!!! And suddenly, Chase has settings issues again? Yea, right. Total Trumper move, lol. As if........................
Ya Tomac is getting ready to retire, did you watch him when he was Jetts age beat Reed in second place by 1 min 47 seconds?? When has Jett won by 1 min 47 seconds. LMFAO
Hey, anytime there's an actual battle at all with Jett, I'll take it lol Tomac is going to give us more battles with Jett I think. In the least, he made it clear he isn't here just to collect a paycheck. He wants to go out the best he can be and this is going to be an awesome next year of racing.
No way.... Pro MX is way more exciting to watch than Supercross. Take away 2 rounds of supercross. Pro MX is way more gnarlier and two races per event, higher speed, fans get up close. Stop promoting the money and promote the sport instead.
Instead of two races on outdoors reduce it to 1 and set it up like super cross two heats one main instead of 40 on the gate for a main 25-30 after two heats ,reduces the racing by 11 races
As soon as Jett gets back Chase has bike setup issues lmao…stop allowing him to make excuses for him just not being better than Jett. He won how many motos in a row with Jett sitting on the sidelines m. As soon as Jett shows back up Chase folded like a lawn chair in a wind storm
What has really been cool over the last 7-10 yrs is riders having longer careers, this many races each year is only going to shorten riders careers hurting the sport in the long run.
Payouts for outdoors needs to be more dont take anymore races off the outdoor schedule. Remove Anaheim 2 and one of the odd ball cities for a week off during season
RC and RV would always say if your competitor is gaining on you then they would let him by to learn where they are gaining and then pass them back. Should Eli have done this?
Why the lame points change for riders? A two moto format should have 25 points for winner per moto, Jett and Tomac tied at 47 points each. Jett wins overall because of 2nd moto win.
Deegan just gave away his vulnerability. Spoiled brats will always try to give you the bravado show, RJ just needs to smack him around in a bowl turn and really ring his bell. After that he’ll be a mid-pack guy. He’s only been able to hang it out the way he has is because he’s never really been hurt.
i honestly think if eli wasnt running the scoop he would have been able to clean the rhythm every lap and he would have been able to hold jett off. we will never know but man he starts missing that rhythm and didnt have the other line dialed in and was losing so much time for so many laps there before jett got him.
i also think eli needs to go train at star with the team more often, everytime he goes and trains with them he comes in the next week firing on all cylinders. i think getting around the hot head young guys gets him fired up a little or something maybe.
Ya I thought he was quick enough everywhere else on the track to keep Jett enough bike links behind. But that quad section was where the most time was lost. Moto 1 Jett did try to catch Tomac but it looked like he backed off a little bit because Tomac was holding the gap.
Jett will handle him comfortably. Deegan is sending it as hard as he can and Jett is consistently riding at 80 percent. Jett only lets it hang out when he's making a pass. Otherwise, he's just riding in his comfort zone.
