No he wasn’t, Eli was in the 46’s with occasional 45 till lap 14 when he drop a few 45’s until lap 19. Jett was in the 45’s until lap 12 then dropped to the 46’s with 2 47’s until lap 22, lap 20-22 Eli was 1 very high 45 on 22 and the others were 46’s. He then dropped to 47’s with 1 46 which is what jett was running as well. The second a half faster when jett was In The 47’s and tomac the 45’s shown on tv was probably because of lappers or a mistake, jett then went back to the 46’s.
@Upthebroncos310 yeah... that's what you expect when you are coming through the pack in p-15. Your slow laps happen when you're in the thick of it and get faster as you make it toward the front where everyone is going faster and are more spread out.

Eli was 17 seconds back with 9 minutes left and by the end after Jett fell and Tomac passed him Tomac was 3 seconds from winning and that’s with an early crash coming through passing every rider except Webb. @@Upthebroncos310
Your point when eli was younger he was the fastest guy too. Not until he wisened up did he win championships. In supercross there times are close. Jetts lap time was barely better than elis and eli had fell coming through the pack at that point
The big question that our broadcasters during the race didn’t even question was why aren’t there more safety features for the riders when they end up off the track a concrete slab should not even be exposed
@@jmac636 Well, banging bars was how it always was, ungroomed tracks was how it always was, using real race bikes instead of the diesels was how it always was, and yet, they changed or are trying to change all of that. The concrete has to go. This is the perfect example of how dangerous the tracks are. The tracks are ending careers of a lot of America's top riders.

I told everyone that Tomac wasn't done... Beast Mode still has a lot to give this sport! Last night he showed us a flashback to the 2017 kawi days... incredible. Matter of fact, he just might win this championship if he keeps riding like that. Nothing scarier than a confident eli tomac.

He still has a lot to give to this sport, people that said it was over are all flipping now that he has proved them wrong. Real fans knew all along that it was only a matter of time. I think eli gets himself another win at Daytona and further cements himself as the King of daytona

AND yes, he IS in this Championship and it is everyone else's to lose. Eli will have the points lead after Daytona. Jett will continue to choke into being a top 10 rider.

If Tomac doesn’t win Daytona he won’t be in the title hunt I don’t think. I just think Tomac felt good on the Arlington track and once they get back on the outside supercross tracks he’s bound to have another couple weird uncomfortable races like Tampa last year. It’s a must win in Daytona for sure 👍🏻
Judging by the depth of the field, 13 points is nothing to overcome at midway in the season. All the riders are one tiny mistake away from a DNF . Tomac rides to stay out of trouble in traffic, and clean air let's beast mode loose.
If I was Jett I wouldnt be too worried , he was a couple of laps away from another win leading from the front - he built a 5 second lead , hes a kid and he will learn from it , he is seriously fast so......

Kids , imho ,they SHOULD NOT be able to get into the premiere Class at younger than 21, the legal drinking age. So they can HOLD AND SPRAY the champaign and have a swig after a Podium , and at 21 then they can make the 10s of millions per season, AS AN ADULT , Jmho, amd I used to race and won alot. I just think this for the 450 CLASS , THIS IS also why they call the 250.class the Lights class , its for the youngsters imho !!!
Yeah I know different countries different laws but funny you can drive a car over there own a gun but can’t drink alcohol that’s okay it is what it is we can we are allowed alcohol at 18 drive at 16 as a learner as for Jett it would be very boring racing if he was still in 250 class don’t think they would let him do it if he wasn’t capable 🇦🇺👍

Tomac in the zone can be scary for all other riders! I hope he has it for the next couple of races, just to show these young guys, what fast really is. these young guys would have been in awe of Stewart in his prime!! AP7 needs to take a page from Dungey, be consistent, don't get into the mix up and he will be there at the end as a Champ contender for sure.

@AzTurboMini I have very high standards. Saying Carmichael is a bad announcer is like saying nickelback is a bad band. You are just saying it to be popular and for attention. He know his stuff very well and isn't over the top and corny like most announcers.
Jett's dad sent an apology out to all the tuff blocks and they will get a free coupon to get their nails done usable anywhere near Perth Australia. He still has the points lead but they know if they bang on em he gets flustered a bit. As much as like him to lose the simple fact is he just is plain out faster than anyone on the tracks unless it is mud and that is NOT good. They gotta go faster and keep bumping em.
Jett isn't faster, Kenny proved it, Webb proved it, AP7 proved it and now Eli made a statement. 2 seconds a lap faster than Jett most of the race. Jett will just continue to choke.........on his overpriced donuts.

I'm still not convinced Eli Tomac's beast mode is back yet. We all know that was a 3rd place ride for Tomac had Jett Lawrence not goofed up on the last lap. Jett Lawrence crashing towards the end was just a heartbreaker for sure, and seeing him have his last chance robbed by Vince Friese was just as bad IMO. I don't blame Friese at all because that was a racing incident for sure. Cooper Webb is certainly showing he's the "King of Arlington" with as many wins as he has, too. Keep 'em coming, Cooksey!
Here's an idea, how about instead of using those dangerous tuff blocks, they use those flexible track marker pegs from the outdoors and the gps, seems like a much safer idea instead of the dangerous tuff blocks on the track.
@@dropbear9526 they could put advertisements elsewhere, keep the tuuf blocks on berms and inside corners but get rid of them on rhythm sections and straight aways as they're literally taking up 4ft of track.

I think people are overhyping *Ty* Yes he had a some 450 Top10s Outdoors but with a depleted field. He's raced 5 250sx races never inside the top 10. I would say made his 450sx debut but didn't make the night show. He's good but if he can't get in the Top10 on a 250sx he's not going to qualify in the 450sx
Webb is experienced and used Fresie as a rolling block leaving no room in between for jet to get by. Kenny said it best Jett does not know how to lose or take second, He saw the situation and was going to cram his way through when he should have slowed down and went around. VF. Webb was putting the pressure on. Jett was lucky he very easily could have ended up like Forkner hitting the concrete when he got off in the whoops. Ghe difference here is Webb and Tomac are seasoned veterans and ride fast in control even if they get passed. That’s makes success , Haiden is following that control from what I can see. Jett needs to get off that unforgiving Honda and move to star and learn that control then no one will beat him

The crowd might not be booing Jett anymore but they are cheering when he goes down. I am waiting for one of Jetts mistakes to have a brutal consequence. He's been getting lucky and one of these times he won't be getting back up.
