Nice, that water looks clean no swells. I have Hispanic friends that love frying whole sheep 15-19", they got this 24" wok they set up in their backyard and do two at a time. The larger ones they cut the heads off and fry it for their dog, that dog will knarl on that head for days. LOL. Dog eats crabs too. I got a business trip in SA next month and we will try and hit the pass if the weather permits, it is spring. Great video, love the salt action.

😂😂 yea man the sheep teeth will ruin your stringer.. piercing the eyes won't kill the fish either. them sheep's are hardy, they will stay fresh alive on the stringer with no teeth in the way lol😂🤙

Size 3 gamakatsu j hook 40 pound leader and 30 pound braid

I had no idea there was a jetty boat , what time does it drop you off ?

The times can very during different seasons. Best bet is to call the fishermans wharf amd ask about the jetty boat the day before you plan on going to be safe that it's up and running and aswell as to check the times.

Hey Ray. Question I’ve noticed you use the octopus J hook a lot. I was wondering why you prefer that hook over a regular circle hook? I love your videos man and you have schooled me on a lot! Keep it up! Subbed

Honestly, I prefer a j hook with an offset eye. The hook can be mustad it can be gamakatsu brand don't matter to much. What I mean is by the part where you tie up to, the eye itself. the eye will be bent back a bit, enabling, in my opinion, a better hook set. That is if you like to set the hook on a fish. With a circle hook, you can not set the hook. When im fishing for keeper fish, I generally have the rod in my hand, and I like to set the hook
