I went jetty fishing at South Padre Island to chase the illusive drag smoking kingfish that only comes to shore under certain conditions. liinks.co/beachbomberfishing
This guy makes me wish I had a fishing buddy like him, 100% motivates me to just wanna be out on the water all the time and end the day with my family. Nice videos man, thank you for your hard work.
Amen brother! I drive 4 hours each way to fish one day at the port a jetties. Took me three trips to even get a bite! But I watched and learned just like you’re taking about. I’d feel like shit on my way home but I’d be planning that next trip before my head hit the pillow that night. Great video another crispy one 🤙🏻
Man I haven’t been to South Padre Island since I was a kid! My dad and I would always go deep sea fishing or bay fishing when we’d vacation there sometimes! I miss it so much! This video was a big nostalgia trip, bro! Nice! 😎🤙
Badass catch, Beach! That underwater footage was sick! This is what fishing is all about, putting in the research and time to be have a successful trip.
Yo! Excellent vid! I just recently moved to McAllen from Houston and you nailed all my angler struggles on the head. So much good information and tips here. High quality media as always. Keep up the good work.
Awesome video man next time try going to a place called the east cut its a jetty that requires you to drive the beach with 4x4 used to be a honey hole when i was little with my dad just drive through the last beach access and then drive down the beach there is a sunken shrimp boat as a half way point
Dude you're in my back yard. The best fishing in Texas clean clear water. C'mon man in high school my friends used to jump from the jetties to that tower and dive off.
Hell yeah I was there Sunday morning. Unfortunately you walked right by me Otherwise I would have given you some baits. But the water is super clear and warm for this time of year so fishing was a lil weird but chartreuse color red and white where going insane
That Cero was a badass fish! We don’t see a lot of those in Texas. Also, is it a little weird using a reel that doesn’t get quite the distance as a 525 Mag or super tuned Avet? I want to see how that reel does after it gets a little love from the ceramics division.
@@BeachBomberFishing yes sir, wife and 3 pups,it’s more convenient,I only carry 6 gallon jug water, but if your set for the day well get the RV spot to use water and electricity, through the day the RV is with me,wife needs AC🤣
Good video footage, man, I’m headed there tomorrow to Port Isabel, I don’t normally fish the jetties, but I fish the Bayside, just mainly for speckled, trout, redfish, and sheepshed I hope, good catch!
Them jacks pampano and we got two typs of hammer head white tip bull got maco got one more i forgot got onebull red bull fish black drums got ribbon fish got mullet i done brackish and ocean and fresh water
Great video. Thank you for posting. I’m heading down to South Padre Island and am trying to put together a rig. What is your bait casting set up? I’m looking for a bait caster with a m/h rod. Does this sound like a good set up for the area? Do you have any suggestions?
I have two big baitcaster setups. 1. Okuma komodo 463lx baitcaster on a okuma Psycho Stick muskie 9'6 2. The one I caught the king on: okuma citrix 363 on a custom 9ft rainshadow
@@BeachBomberFishing damn that sucks hopefully you can come back late summer whiting and pompano are easier to catch cuz of the sunny weather and clear water
@@BeachBomberFishing the bigger fish tend to be caught more frequently at access 6 which is the last access on the beach because the guts and holes are deeper
@SeaBozz good to know! I dropped a gofish camera about 200 yards off the beach, man SPI beaches get deep! The gut between the 2nd bar to 3rd is at least 10 feet deep.
I need help can where can I see what fish to eat saltwater and freshwater and how much fish to get size and season I'm afraid I will fish in south padre and not know if it's edible and if it's too small cause I'd just catch one whatever and take it home
@@BeachBomberFishing ah ok bc i bought different sizes and colors of deadly dicks and I saw when you catch jack you use the custom amazon Crocodile Spoons. so like idk if the deadly dicks will work for the jettys or not
I want to go after the ones I can bring home and eat. Reports claim the Kings and Yellow fin Tuna have the highest content of Mercury and heavy metals in their meat and recommend not for human consumption. Any truth to that?
@@BeachBomberFishing what is your profession I would like to guess that you are a car salesman. It doesn’t sound genuine, but honestly you shouldn’t care what anyone thinks it’s just my opinion.
