Been playing through the game before I watch my favorite RU-vidrs play, but man this dlc has been all of a 10/10 and then some. Best fromsoft dlc by far and seeing jev play it makes it even better

Black Steel Greathammer is actually amazing for a faith build. you have to read the description to find out its hidden mechanics. it gains exponentially increased damage when you give it a sacred scaling, and its meant for a shield/hammer combo. it does a holy explosion like the Knight was doing, when you use a guard counter attack. if youre doing a Faith build, put Prayerful Strike on that bad boy and go to town.

This better be the uploaded consecutively, I don’t play the game but I thoroughly enjoy watching you play it Jev, thanks big guy 👌🏼

Jev, I just started this DLC and found something very nice that maybe even better than Lion's Claw. All you have to do is hug the cliff from the first Cross and you should find it in a camp right before the small lake in the north

had to play before watching gameplay to not spoil myself, been stuck on mesmer for 3 days so fuck it we watchin jev

I have just gotten to the point where I beat the Pontiff looking/acting boss, and pressumably explored almost everything inbetween. So I asume it should be safe for me to watch the first few ER DLC playthroughs of my favorite ER RU-vidrs, without reacing the point where it will spoil content for me

i used to be scared of souls games but watching jev play has made me even more excited to playthough the whole game and reach the dlc. :D

please find the cool lions claw... just follow the same road you took to reach that grace with the first cross. the path in the middle, close to the lake there is like an item in an abandoned small camp. you will not regret it.

There’s a setting where you can wear the helmet but it won’t show on your character so you still get the armor benefits From it

I just came back to tell you about the “great katana” i inly have it level 18 or 19 i think and you can equip the lions claw ash of war. Im running a dex build so im using it on keen and with the stance break physic it staggers pretty well. Im sure you would enjoy it. You can find it in the light blue lake next to the ghostflame dragon on the ground. I thought he was gonna be easier to beat after watching charlie first try him but with only the 10 base vigor it didnt go very well…

the hammer is so fun lol it was one of the first things i got and i immediately started using it, i wish it actually had the moveset the enemy uses though
