Thank you so much Danny Hidalgo for this great short docu on my work as an artist of Scale Lowriders.
Jeroen de Vries, also known as "Jevries", is an artist from Holland whose creative mastery in building functioning scale lowrider model cars has inspired people around the world. Discover Jevries creative process and learn why this self-taught artist has gained such acclaim building scale lowriders.
Developed and Produced in Chicago, IL.

I remember vividly . I was a kid in 1995-1998. Jevries was on Chris’s EZBoard Greatest forum ever. That’s when I first saw what he did. I always wanted to buy one.

I read you comment, "the best is yet to come," and wonder if you have any plans of making models for sale? Make a deal with an eccentric toy company and build custom lowriders to order. You can have a list of cars that you can easily acquire and work on, with a list of options so the buyer can have input on how the car will end up looking and functioning. After all you truly are the best at what you do. I find your work truly amazing.

I was totally suprised that @redcatracing approached me for this project going out of their comfort zone with it. It’s also a difficult product to develop for mass production but they did a hell of a job turning my scratch build sample into a proffessional product that looks and moves better than my builds. I applaud them for having the balls to go for it and pull it off.👊🏼😎👊🏼
