Hey cruise fans and welcome back to Ray and Sue's Travel Channel.
We undertook a 14 day eastbound transatlantic crossing on the beautiful Jewel of the Seas in April 2024.
Check out the video for day 1 of our cruise when we embark in Port everglades, Ft Lauderdale, depart for Cococay and share with you the upper decks and our stateroom.

Great video as always 😊. One observation, at 2:43, you state the lovely Liberty of the Seas is a Voyager Class ship. It is in fact a Freedom Class ship which is larger than a Voyager Class. Thanks, James

Thanks for a lovely video of Jewel. We love the Radiance class ships. Looks as if you had beautiful weather for sail away. Just FYI, Liberty of the Seas is a Freedom class ship. We did a repo cruise on her in 2015. She was going to Galveston for refurb(they added the water slides then).

Thanks Savvytraveller. Appreciate the comments. Youre right, Liberty is Freedom class, my bad. We had a good sailaway and weather was great and continued all the way home to the UK.. Stay tuned for next weeks video which is a Cococay tour. Cheers. Ray.

Jewel of the Seas is one of my most favorite ships. Nice size, and with a fantastic crew. Wishing all on board a wonderful and relaxing transatlantic voyage!
