Jeweled Lacerta Enclosure Upgrade! (Outdated) 

he is! He got his adult enclosure this past summer and hes turned into quite the beef cake!

I’m not sure if you noticed but I added outdated to the title of this video hoping people would realize that this is an old video and not his enclosure anymore LOL! Guess it didn’t work😅 I added the link to his new enclosure that he got shortly after this one in a comment, but comment the link here for you so you can see his current set up! He is in a 40 gallon breeder with lots of dirt to dig and I’m in the process of looking for a 4 x 2 for him. His enclosure has changed a bit from that video though as far as decor and I have a raised platform to keep his food and water dish out if the dirt. My most recent apartment tour video shows it :)

Caitlyn Gacke thank you! I was comparing his alligator rolls and tearing up my hands to being like an iguana - luckily Arcadius is very laid back and has never alligator rolled, but my hands looked and felt like they do after handling him - so very much similar in those aspects, just in a smaller package LOL!

It looks horrible he's more then half the size of the tank u should have done more research before buying that lizard. I have a 155gallon for my jewelled lacerta and he looks big in it this is sad

captn skipper idk if it’s the video that makes it look like that, but I can assure you that he is absolutely not more than half the size of that enclosure, not even close. He’s only about 10months old, and I can assure you there are plans in the works for a massive enclosure for him (we are in the works of planning custom builds for all my animals (spoiler alert). I’m very much well aware of the space that these lizards need as adults. Thank you for voicing your concern, as always, it’s much appreciated so I can address concerns :)
