This is great! I have been struggling with creating a simple, but attracting photos for my handmade jewelry. Can I get this same effect using my light box? Thank you.
Wow..I needed this 😂..I have a TON of jewelry that I would ❤ to list, but the images I have been able to take have not been good 😅. Your video has shown me that sometimes less is more. I thank you
This was awesome - thanks! I was wondering if you have any tips for how to get all of the jewelry in focus (without having to focus stack) when the jewelry is raised up closer to the camera (your example with the stacked foam platforms)? Your pic looked crystal clear, but when I'm shooting at a similar distance (5D, 100m lens, same aperture that you are using f/11), I'm finding that some of the jewelry is still a bit out of focus no matter what I do. Thanks for any advice!
You're welcome! With focus you need to increase your aperture if you want more in focus - with jewellery though this can be tricky, especially with rings depending on how they're placed. Focus stacking solves that issue if you can increase your aperture.
Any type of camera will work for a photoshoot, the quality just want be the same as the sensor size on an iPhone is quite small compared to that of a camera, so your images won’t be as crisp and sharp, which is really important if you’re doing jewellery photography professionally.
@@amandacampeanu thanks a lot. Appreciate your response. I’m a product photographer in Pakistan and I doubt that they will deliver the products here. Ergo, the dependency on DIY :(
