In the Bible, Israel is both a people and a place. Jacob aka Israel, had 12 sons that make up the people, called the children of Israel. There are heaps of dna results out there already of Jews, of Arabs or Iranians... just about anyone from anywhere. I have done tests on Ashkenazi Jewish dna, Palestinian dna, Lebanese dna of whatever religion.... It isn't hard to get dna results, they're publicly available. Palestinians are quite mixed, so are all those people. Jews and Palestinians have a lot of what can be called non European dna.
