Till long ago the rabbis used to read Isaiah 53 in synagogues, but after the chapter caused arguments and great confusion in jewish community , the rabbis decided to take out that prophecy chapter , out of the Haftarah readings in synagogues. That’s why today when jews read Isaiah 52, they will stop in the middle of the chapter and the week after jump straight to Isaiah 54. Where is Isaiah 53? I have no idea why I came across this but I hope it may bring you some comfort. May God be with you. Jesus is said to be the one to wipe our tears in new creation to come. Many believe we will forget those we love so we don’t suffer, but I don’t feel it’s God’s nature for us to forget pain. He makes us deal with it. He always did. That’s His pattern through all history. So what I believe is: there will be tears and sadness still, as both aren’t a result of sin, they are also part of God’s nature--He feels sadness and cries. What I understand that will happen once we reach perfection in the new Jerusalem, is that Jesus will teach us to deal with pain so it won’t consume us as it would on this Earth. So there won’t be grief like there is on this Earth. Because we will be emotionally mature enough. So yea, we will remember, we must remember everything, otherwise our lives wouldn’t make sense. But the joy of God’s presence and the knowledge of His plans will make us feel at peace even with the memory of the eternal loss of loved ones.

My take about spiritual matters is believe on Yeshua and you will be saved and that is my theology. And that rhymes with One for Israel and I suggest you listen to them because they are Jewish, who straddle the two views.
