Why are so many people so hurt in the comments? These people are ethnically Jewish, although they share cultural ties to india. Their blood runs through Israel and their ancient customs and traditions are celebrated there. It's like meeting a part of your family you were never able to meet. They finally got to visit a place where they don't feel like the odd one out and it was a nice experience for them being able to get in touch with that part of their identity. For almost 2000 years (thats a huge time for human history) these peoples only homeland was Kokan. So long that they had nearly forgotten their roots language culture and simultaneouly integrated into the local culture to an extent and people referred them as Caste Teli than separate religion. Who gives a shit what anybody thinks of us. We just do whatever the hell we need to do, and there ain't nothing anybody can do about it. If they come as friends, they're welcome and if not, then it proved to be their last destination. So many came and went. History testifies everything....
Getting ignored and discriminated are 2 different things, if not for social media many doesn't even know that Jews live in India and they came to India like 2000 yrs ago, they're filled up with their own daily issues, 99% of Indians will never get chance to meet Jew in a first place.
I would understand Jews who came here due to persecutions and now Israel is doing good so they would like to go back. However, these are 2nd or 3rd generation kids and they don't feel India home ? Just because we cannot pronounce your names ? What if your ancestors were left alone because Indians couldn't pronounce their names ?
I think if they r proud in being jews, they shud also say proudly they r Indians. I knw israel is the land of Jews jst lyk India is d land of hindus. bt they r gonna hv to stay in india if they wanna grow nd gain respect. it's not India's fault that they r so less in population.
Common guys, india is for those people who consider themselves as indian first 🇮🇳. Its good they went to their beloved country isreal🇮🇱 and they might face racism there but we indians should mind our own business 😌.
