Hi Lewis. Just good old CB. The guy (Dan) with the Newcastle accent has only just come back on radio. Hope your well. Enjoying you documentary type videos.
Great signal! I use the Midland 75-822 for portable. Get up on some high ground. I use an extra long whip. Just posted on it to enhance your chances. Good work Fred.
That's cool...you do tend to get a lot of range on those lower frequencies....I found this video while looking for medieval Viking mud battles....I also like to play around with my RTL-SDR with direct sampling, and I just recently got an upconverter which seems to get more signals....
Hi Fred so I've returned to CB after a 35 year gap, my president McKinley has USB and LSB on it but I have no idea of the appropriate language and how to use it. is it the same as HAM, I did my foundation licence many years ago but have forgot it for the most, do you have a video or can you suggest one to show me how to initiate contact and the etiquette, codes used? thanks for all your hard work.
