Yea the way the blade is it’s impossible to zero gap unless you do this to them. Make sure the screws are snug. Not too tight. You don’t want to strip them

if it's not from babyliss, im guessing the moving blade does not perfectly aligned with your new blade. it will fit with wahl blade or maybe any type of two holes blade but the sound is gonna be the issue.

Blade might not be made for that specific clipper. Double check.

I took mine apart to clean and it's load now and doesn't cut the same
