That final shot is just nasty doesnt matter how many times i watch it its just eerie watching the limousine come around the corner knowing the president has seconds to live.Its amazing as close as Jackie is to him when the head shot is made that she wasnt hit and how traumatic that had to be.

No we probably wouldn't because every body that has seen the Zapruder film over & over says the fatal head shot came from the grassy knoll. That is what I thought watching it. HOWEVER , I want answers about WHO / WHY / Why my parents didn't believe the Warren Report up to their dying day ? How can you believe this isn't important? There is some very real evidence this assassination was carried out by a Soviet trained assassin which would be an act of war.
It's different to actually see it. You read about it in history books, you watch documentaries and dramatisations, even films. But to actually watch the real footage of the incident, to see the moment the bullet kills him, it just hits differently. It feels so much more tragic.
For those of you who weren’t alive in 1963, there was a nation wide shock and sadness for several weeks. Everywhere people were stunned and silent, the grocery store, church, gas station, restaurants, etc. people suddenly became very introverted for several weeks.

This is something I've never been able to erase from my mind. Since the first time I saw it, I felt helpless. I wanted to be able to warn him, but I was born too late, even too late to avenge him. To the people who say "who cares about who the people responsible for this are? It happened so long ago, it's irrelevant now." NO. Most of the people responsible for this may be already dead, but their evilness still reigns. It affects all of us still in the present day. If we let them get away with things like this, we'll never be free. This man wanted us to be free, we must honor him.
The film does not show that and everyone in the car and eye witnesses never said that is what happened. Gov. Connelly himself said that he was hit by a different bullet than JFK as did his wife. Witnesses said that Oswald was in the lunch room when it happened, though he was connected with the C>I>A seriously.

According to the Secret Service Agent, Clint Hill, who climbed onto the car right after Kennedy was shot, "Her (Jackie Kennedy) eyes were filled with terror as she reached out and grabbed a piece of the president's head that had flown into the truck." Later on at the hospital, Jackie Kennedy gave the skull fragment to doctors and surgeons asking something along the lines of, "Would this help?" She was in a state of shock and still believed they could put his head back together.

All the witnesses there on that day testified that the limo stopped,not slowed down but stopped. But you will never see that in the news or the Zapruder film here because that is not the original
If you look close enough at the curb stones you can see 2 painted with yellow lines on them,these appear just before he was hit and just after,supposedly to mark out the kill zone...these yellow lines were removed within days but were recorded on the surveyors map that was taken the day after the event and can still be found in records of the day

I remember the day this happened. Here is the story. So I remember being a 6th grader when this happened, and in middle of class the principle tells us “JFK has died.” At the time us 6th graders didn’t understand to much because we was just some kids. And we all sorta knew he was a good president, everybody loved him. And me and my friends were those kids who would listen and often be the teachers pets. So we all were confused and heard everybody talking. So we then did, we knew it wasn’t no prank or anything. So we had no choice but to believe the fact that he’s dead. Then we saw our teacher step out of the class in a bit of a rush. We all sat there for at least another 5 minutes. Then the bell began to ring. We were going to our lockers and we all saw teachers and students, basically everybody crying and sobbing in the halls. We knew why now, he was really dead. But something we did understand was everybody loved him Republicans or Democrats loved him, basically everybody loved him. Then that was when me and my friends began to get upset. I’m not sure if we got to go back home early or not, it’s been such a long time ago. I still get sad thinking about JFK and that day. Me and my friends started a band, and we made a song about JFK because it wouldn’t get off our minds.

Entry and exit wounds on Kennedy make it painfully obvious that both shots came from behind. The amount of momentum a bullet carries is pretty negligible compared to the mass of the human body, the idea that it should have thrown his head forwards is silly.

I remember watching the assassination coverage as a kid on TV. At that time, the news reports only spoke about "a shot to the back of the head", and maybe some drawings of the bullet trajectory. It might have been that the Zapruder film was subpoenaed immediately afterwards. Or that it was just considered at that time as too gruesome to show on broadcast TV. But this footage was not shown to the general public until the mid-1970's.

Presumably by Oswald which is shooting from the rear. 0:18 1:21Kennedy is shot in the head from his 2 o'clock position. This proves there were two shooters. Oswald couldn't have been the only perpetrator. There was a second rifle in front of the car.

Mr. Davison, Thank you very much for sharing your work with the world. As video and computer tech evolves in coming years ... I would like to plant a seed for thought in your mind. Is it possible that the supersonic boom/trail of the 6.5 mm bullet might have left a minutely traceable air disturbance that could someday show us the STREAK of the bullet across the head-shot film frame? We know that the streak of a supersonic 6.5 mm bullet is too small to resolve using present techniques ... but I am wondering if perhaps the larger disturbance of the bullet's supersonic shock wave might someday be shown to have acted as a lens that refracted air around the bullet JUST ENOUGH to provide evidence of the flight path of the bullet. I note that high speed photography of supersonic military missiles shows a shock wave many times the diameter of the missile itself. Might there be a disturbance in the air around a supersonic bullet that is many times the diameter of the 6.5 mm bullet ? Might a microscopic examination of the Zapruder film (or a very good copy) reveal an incredibly tiny refraction of light as a result of the compression of air caused by the supersonic bullet? Might a near molecular examination of the head shot frame, at various light wavelengths, reveal a bullet path back to the School Book Depository window ? If such a future examination of the head shot frame reveals new evidence ... one could then apply the same technique to see if a similar SUPERSONIC STREAK appears in any of the frames when President Kennedy is behind the road sign. The discovery of such supersonic streaks could resolve some lingering doubts for history .... to say nothing of making you a very famous man ! Thanks again for sharing your work on the Zapruder film.
I can imagine this in a museum one day.. being able to walk into a room with like a holodeck type experience and being able to watch it all unfold as a "JFK: the last day" exhibition where you can see all around the area and watch as you can see the trails in the air.. his head explode.. all that..
I remember one time getting slapped in the back of the head. My head flew violently backwards towards the blow. It did not fly forwards in the direction of the forceful slap. This same effect is clearly what happened to President Kennedy. I also am from Mars.

Every Recreation I have seen just shows JFK's car in the clear so the Oswald shot looks Plausible. But the Car following very closely and the Bicycle Cops even closer would have presented a very hard shot as at least two Secret service agents are standing on the side boards of the vehicle behind JFK. I would like to see one recreation which included this to see how clear was that shot.
This was 1963. Many, many politicians campaigned in open convertibles. It was their way to be seen by the public. It was a completely different time, if you happen to have lived during that era. Take a look at film of Bobby Kennedy campaigning in 1967/68, standing in an open convertible, being held by campaign workers so he doesn't fall out of the car as he's leaning over and reaching out to shake hands with his admirers.

He was in Dealey Plaza, and saw Oswald's fire the shot and saw his face as he pulled the rifle down. His description of Oswald was how the police found him later.

I'm not an expert videography, guns, or the assassination itself. But I'm an engineer and I can analyze. I've read enough to conclude that the chance that Oswald did this himself is close to zero. Regarding the film, sometimes when we can't measure something directly, we measure the effect that thing has on what's around it. Watching the other people in the film, not one looks up, behind, and to JFK's right. Every person is watching the limousine or, after the shots, toward and past the camera--toward the grassy knoll. Also, it appears to me that the two police on motorcycles behind the president's limousine originally were watching the president, but then they turn their heads to their right as JFK puts his arms up and the Governor slumps after the first shot. It's only a glimpse, though, because those two police officers are not visible again until the secret service agent is on the car. Of the entities that benefited most from JFK's death, I don't have enough data to lean toward one over others as the culprit. Maybe it's all of the above.
Well Lisa, why did Oswald kill Officer Tippett when Tippett approached him? That's not an action of an innocent man. Also, you do know that a gunshot/shots are loud correct? And with tall buildings all around the shots reverberated probably to the point nobody had a clue where it came from. In fact, some witnesses interviewed said they heard 5 or more shots. While others in the same area said there was 3. That should tell you the confusion of that day.
Scott Wilson Witnesses of Tippit’s murder give different accounts. Some say there were two men and there are differences in how it played out. Also, there are discrepancies within the purported timeline that would have Oswald kill JFK, be seen in the cafeteria, go back to his boarding house, kill Tippit, and arrive at the Texas theatre. And it’s difficult to get past the fact that paraffin tests showed that Oswald had not shot a gun that day. I understand that it’s hard to wrap our head around the kind of power, and immorality, it would take for a group of people to conspire to assassinate a President, not get caught, and pin the blame on someone else. That said, it’s not difficult to extrapolate that such powerful and evil people would have no qualms killing an innocent police officer to maintain their cover.
To people wondering where did the headshot really came from, it was from Oswald, behind him, he shot JFK in the back of his head. If you take a piece of clay and stab it with a pencil, you could see that the exit wound is far bigger than the entrance wound. And if you will ask, if it did came from the back then why did the left side of his head not explode? Well it's because the entrance wound was slightly to the right, so that would mean his right side of the skull will blow out (as we see here) and an explosion too at the left, but not to the fact it will blow out of his skull. Also if you have good eyes, you could also see for a split second JFK's head did turn forward before turning to the left and back. Which means that the bullet did enter behind him, and the explosion from his right skull caused the reaction to him turning back.
It does...photos of the scene from other side of the street clearly shows the brake lights on slowing car for an easier shot ..no other explanation...these were trained agents...their natural reaction was to floor the car and exit area ...obviously a conscious effort made to do him harm
When you look at the Wikipedia page for JFK’s assassination it tells you he was shot twice. Once in the back and again in the head. It also tells you that the first shot went in his back and came out his throat. You can clearly see in this video everyone’s reaction to the first shot going off and you can see JFK checking to see where the bullet came out. Then he is shot in the head. What I noticed in this video is that the vehicle slowed down when everyone was checking him and then he was shot. It might just be a visual glitch or whatever in the video but if it isn’t and they actually slowed down in the moment to check him; that costed him his life. If they had sped off as soon as they heard the shot, maybe Oswald wouldn’t have shot Kennedy in the head. Idk just a theory
The driver took the final shot once the first shot didn't take him down. Watch again and cast it to big screen . Obvious. You see the barrel of gun from left hand over driver right shoulder. Everyone in the car except Jackie and the Pres was in on it ....sad shit.

Since Zapruder stopped filming for a few seconds and we suddenly see the car at :8 seconds, it does NOT show the whole shooting. Many witnesses said the first shot was fired right after they turned the corner. SO..........the Zapruder film does not show the first shot.
The driver turns his head twice. On the first turn he looks at Kennedy and then seems to slow down the vehicle. On the second turn of his head it is as if he is waiting for the head shot and once it happens he THEN hits the accelerator. It makes it look suspicious like he's in on the assassination.

I used to think multiple shooters. But several sophisticated investigations for the 50th anniversary, including some that relied on physics in conjunction with highly sophisticated computer technology, proved beyond any doubt that Oswald was the lone gunman. Despite what you seem to see, the action of Kennedy’s head is entirely consistent with a shot from the rear. This was understood in 1964, and it is understood today. See the book “Case Closed.”
Most people have the idea (probably from movies and TV shows), that a bullet drills a neat little hole. However a modern weapon can tear-off a limb or literally explode your head.
