My Mother died at 64, too--it's just too young. I really thought Jackie would live much longer (and hoped she would). I loved her so much! The classiest of the Former First Ladies! But--she was a closet smoker, many did not know that at the time..........
I completely agree ! I lost my mother when she was 54! She was also a chain smoker and died of a heart attack, I used to smoke but gave it up! I hoped Jackie is gonna be in her 90 s like Ethel kennedy, but if jackie had lived when her son died in 1999 that would have been devastated for her !

The cigarettes for sure shortened her life by at least 15 years. She was very rich ( left Caroline and John / 73 Million in assets and real estate). She would have made it to 80, without the cancer sticks! Cigarettes cause cancer over a 45 year period. She smoked since she was like 15 years old!
His poor sweet mother was sitting right beside a swamp creature of the same magnitude as the one who took his father's life, and he knew it. You could see it in his face and body language. He would soon go into hiding, because of the wife of that swamp creature or face death. But in hiding he could wage war from a much more strategic place, behind the scenes. By God, we really ARE in a movie aren't we?
I think she was sad because every one in their speech was talking about JFK (and Bobby) and May be she was thinking of him. I also think that the more she was living the more she was missing his presence
Indeed it was, but it was sworn to secrecy and only her children knew. It had been under control in her lungs but had spread to her lymphatic system and to her legs. Terribly sad..

JFK, Jr., too? Yes. But why? Good question. Why would a young, handsome couple who appeared to be captivating and metaphorically holding the world by a string like a playful balloon, fake their deaths along with the sister-in-law? You could ask the same question of the other highly successful people who we now know went into a world-wide witness protection program. Here’s the list we know about so far: Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Robin Williams, Steve Jobs, and David Bowie. Add to it now JFK, Jr., and Carolyn Bessette. I can’t help but wonder if the murder of JFK is tied into at least some of this. Why? Think about it. If a group of people conspired, and succeeded, in killing a “sitting US President” in front of the entire world, are any of us really safe? I mean it. Sure, the global population is an extremely large group, but there are ways to eliminate people slowly. For example, put poisonous fluoride in the water or spray chemicals from airplanes that poison the land, air, water, and plant life all at once killing off fish and land animals. If someone is willing to do that, wouldn’t they also be willing to poison the world’s food supply? Think about what would happen if major constraints were put on the supply of fertilizer worldwide and then target shipping. Everything I listed above is happening at this time. Plus, I’m seeing an erosion of individual rights to speak or protest and a clamping down on the media narrative. Notice how you can turn from one TV channel to the next and the speaker simply repeats the exact same words as on the other channels? All of a sudden, I’m not feeling very safe. There’s a greater story percolating beneath the surface, and I want to know what it is. Don’t you? Thanks.
