Listen to this description :
"Like its sister cue (Dante I), this Pale Horse offers no purgatory. The JFS: Dante II is a heart-stopping wraith. Its stark white design with subtle crimson and jet-black weaponry accents frame a “white lizard” leather wrap. This is your opponent’s Armageddon."
How can you not buy it with a write up like that!
Here is my new pool cue. I've finally found a cue that looks like what I want. I talk about a few things in this video and I hope you find it helpful.

I have the aspirant series and it’s surprisingly good for the price. I also have a cuetec cynergy carbon cue as well and the cuetec is definitely nicer in my opinion but maybe not double the price worth. I think anyone wanting to start with carbon cue jflowers is definitely the right one.

Got my dante 2 in december, while its been hard adjusting from snooker cues ive been playing with for the last decade. Im so happy with my dante an slowly getting more and more used to it. Saying that tho i was alittle disappointed there were no weight bolts in the butt so being stuck with a 19oz cue is a big adjustment. The entry level price was fantastic
@HereAfterBilliards

There absolutely is a weight bolt in the butt. Simply unscrew the threaded bumper and grab the right allen key to unscrew the weight bolt 👍

@@HereAfterBilliards thanks for replying but comparing with my viking butt i take the rubber bumper off and i can see the bolts down a couple of inches where as in my dante butt I take off the bumper an theres just an empty void that goes down roughly 4 1/2 inches.

Hey man, which shaft did you get? the classic or the crown? Thank you so much for this vid and I have decided on this brand because of the video. Did not expect to see Topshot(my favorite place in EDM)randomly on in a random video on the internet

When I got the Dante the SMO didn't exist. There was only the original CF that they call the Classic now. Since then I've upgraded to the SMO and it's well worth it. I'm very happy with it. I live in Edmonton so TopShots sneaks into quite a few of my videos😜

@HereAfterBilliards Год назад
No it came with the white sight plate. I've never actually shot with a carbon fiber without one so I really couldn't tell you if it's helping me. This is literally only my third carbon fiber shaft so... Do you find its way different without one shooting with the black shaft and no white ferule?
@jasonsanders9054
@jasonsanders9054 Год назад
@@HereAfterBilliards not really, I actually liked the black better. But the pad was just a precaution when changing tips. Probably not needed but tip change just concerned me more when I got a carbon fiber cue 2 year ago. Honestly think all it did was add a touch more deflection to the shaft by adding a little more weight. Most probably wouldn't even notice. But that being said I haven't removed it because it hasn't bothered me

Hey! I got my jflower cue a few months ago! Love it. However the medium tip that came with it fell off after a few hours. I was ok with it because I was gonna put a kamui on it anyway. It came after 3 days and communication with the company was top notch. They didn’t have my wrap choice and they reached out right away. I have zero regrets on the purchase. I looked into getting a cuetec or predator carbon fiber cue and it seemed impossible to find one online to get shipped to me here in Canada. I can’t recommend this cue enough to ppl

Lucky you. The cue I ordered from JFlowers in December won't be here till June. Back order of course. I guess all the good reviews on RU-vid has really helped their sales.Good for them. Of course watching this video only made my patience wear thinner. :0) No you're not a moron. many people can't afford to buy just a shaft that cost more than your stick. People on a budget should have options to own a beautiful cue ( with a carbon shaft ) like the one your holding with that big smile on your face. HereAfter enjoy it!

This is kind of crazy cause you're not the first person commenting on this video who says they're having an issue getting their cue. It kind of pisses me off but I can only comment on my experience. I guess I got lucky and they had this newer model in stock and had no issues shipping it. I'm not affiliated with J Flowers so I can't even contact anyone to provide them with your feedback. I guess if you know anyone else who's having the same issues you are I'd ask you to comment here. If there's enough feedback I'd be happy to make another video outlining these supply issues. Kind of an update video on the topic of delivery times. Man I hope you get you're cue before June that's for sure

I saw lots of people complaining about the moori tip which comes with it falling off. That is why I asked Jflowers itself to put for me the kamui black clear soft. So was this about the tip application of the Jflowers or the tip quality itself?
@HereAfterBilliards

Tip quality. When we replaced it it was on there really well. The thing about it was it was incredibly hard. A medium shouldn't hit that way.

Hi.. did touch on why you went from 11.8 to a 12.5mm shaft.. I'd like to know why.. I have J Flowers break cue love it.. like you said you can't beat the price.. and it breaks just as good as the higher end brands
@HereAfterBilliards
@HereAfterBilliards Год назад
Yeah I totally forgot to speak to that. Basically with the 11.8 I found that your margin for error was much less. So in other words it was easier to miss if you weren't hitting the cue ball exactly where you thought you were hitting it. Does that make sense? Basically I had become cue lazy and had was slacking with my fundamentals. The 11.8 was good because it forced me to practice consciously to keep my head still and down after the contact. Also to change my eye pattern and make sure I was feathering consistently and actually striking the cue ball where I thought I was. It was good for my overall game... But heading back to the 12.5 feels great and like an old glove. You wouldn't think there's that much difference between the two shaft sizes but there really is. I hit on this topic in part 3 of my stun run-through video. If you're interested check it out. Thanks for watching. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XZ6KInKTPbg.html

@@HereAfterBilliards DID YOU FEEL THE 11.8 WAS TOO THIN FOR THE BRIDGE? SEEN VISEOS WITH 11.8 AND THE SHAFTS VIBRATE MORE, CAN ACTUALLY SEE IT IN VIDEOS. YOU HAVE LESS LEATHER DIRECTING THE CUE BALL. SO YOU HAVE TO BE ON TARGET. PER YOUR COMMENT MARGIN ERROR IS SMALLER. MINNESOTA FATS PLAYED WITH A 13.5MM AND SHOT GREAT PRECISION. ON THE OTHER HAND FOR TOUGH SHOTS NEEDING A PRECISE HIT, THE 11.8 MAY BE FAVORED? WHO KNOWS, FEDOR PLAY WITH 12.5, ETC. ETC....
@HereAfterBilliards
@HereAfterBilliards Год назад
@@PostUp_Time Exactly right. With the 11.8 you really have to be on point or you will risk missing. With that being said it did help retrain me and get the lazyness out of my stroke. Cueing the 11.8 was easier which I guess is one of the advantages of going with it.
@jasonsanders9054
@jasonsanders9054 Год назад
@@HereAfterBilliards hey I was meaning to ask you about the cue extension. How does it affect cueing when using it? I didn't get one. Due to being only 5' 8 and playing on 9 foot tables all my life I just use a mechanical bridge. But I've been considering buying one of the 8 inch extensions. My concern is how the length in bridge would probably cause some miscues and miss aiming of the shots. I mean the longest bridge I ever use is only 14 inches. I'm usually in the 12 inch bridge length on most shots. Will go as close as 8 inch on some shots. But a lot of this has to do with when applying side spin I only use front hand English. On soft to medium soft shots no aim correction required and on medium firm to hard shots just a little correction required. I know people who use both back hand and front hand English to not have to adjust aim but for me it's always been easier to just use front hand and adjust aim when using more speed. Plus I don't really like to do anything that changes any part of my swing of the back arm. All this being said over the years I tended to use center ball more and more.
@HereAfterBilliards
@HereAfterBilliards Год назад
@@jasonsanders9054 I think it works great and doesn't effect anything in the stroke. However I have the smaller extension. Basically if you have to position yourself at one end of the table and your cue ball is past the side pocket you can start thinking of grabbing the extension. There's been many times where I got lazy and just finished my run out before I went back to the table to unscrew it. The weight is obviously felt but it's not obscene. My concern with the long extension is the distance your bridge hand would be if you needed that length. Seems rather unsteady like you said. In those situations I'm quite comfortable with the rest and getting shape that way. So I can't speak to the 8 inch you're looking at but the smaller one I use quite often on the 9 foots.

Did i miss in the video that you talking about why you change tip from 11.8 to 12.5 tip?
@HereAfterBilliards
@HereAfterBilliards Год назад
No you didn't 😢 I forgot to go back to that. With an 11.8 you most certainly need to have all aspects of your cueing action firing in all cylinders. I don't buy the "It's easier to feather" arguement. It may not seem like a lot but it's very noticeable the diameter change. The short of it is your margin of error is less with the 11.8. The 12.5 feels so good again. It was an interesting experiment but the 11.8 wasn't for me.
@genejoe
@genejoe Год назад
@@HereAfterBilliards i have a cuetec 11.8. But sometimes i have some errors that i miss a ball. That why i doubt if its the tip is to small for me. Thats why i am buying a jflower 12.5 now to see the differents
@HereAfterBilliards
@HereAfterBilliards Год назад
Yes! This will happen with an 11.8mm tip. The same thing happened to me and the reason I came up with was I had become cue lazy. What it is is you think you're hitting the cue ball in a specific spot but actually somewhere through your feathering and the actual stroke you hit the cue ball just a little off of where you think you're contacting it. This actually made me bear down and correct the problem. This is what made the 11.8.mm experience for me a positive one. It pointed out a glaring problem that crept into my stroke. Now that it's corrected though like I said... I've gone up to the 12.5 and it's been amazing.
