I dig the tones on this album. As a complete work, it’s not as good as hello hurricane, but it’s better than anything they’ve done since hello hurricane which is rivaled only by oh! Gravity as their best album. Oh! Gravity is one of the best and most underrated albums out there. It often got overlooked for “nothing is sound”, but in retrospect it has aged way better through the years. Going back and listening to “nothing is sound” and all the albums before that can feel a little cringey on some songs. For the time those songs were great, but a lot of the music styles then haven’t aged well. With Oh! Gravity and Hello hurricane, I don’t get that feeling from any song. It’s the pinnacle of Switchfoot for me. Vice verses I tried to forget happened, fading west was a great movie and an ok album, but a bit to radio pop sounding to me. Where the light shines through felt like a nice return to form, but then they had to make native tongue. Every song that I’ve heard from that record has made me depressed at how bland and forgettable it was. I know Switchfoot can do better and I hope they do.
Hi I need your help with the SWITCHBACK pedal... is that pedal capable of allowing both Loops to work at the same time via TRS cable with a connector that allows activation of both tip/ring at the same time? or is it only built as a switcher, only allowing one channel at a time?
