I’m currently a figure skater and I have to say, her performance and skills are FLAWLESS. People really don’t understand how hard figure skating really is until they really try it out for themselves. As a skater, I can say that if you really wanna be good at it, you have to put in lLOADS of time and energy to perfect moves. My parents don’t have much time to bring me to a rink so I can only skate on weekends meaning i’m not very good compared many other skaters my age. I’ve been skating since I was 5 and it’s been 7 years now. I’m not even close to Jian Min’s skill level, she is graceful, has good coordination, great speed, and is overall extremely talented. Talent comes with hard work though, so you can imagine how much she practices.
I got my Triple lutz when I was 12! I'm 13 now but I can definitely say that when I was 9 I was nowhere near her level I only had a 2A 😂😂 this girl will grow up to be a star! Best of luck
Agreed she’s really good. Her jumps and spins are super cool and She’s doing double and stuff. Also her moves are really nice. I think she still can improve but I don’t do competitive figure skating so I dont know... but she’s good
Her performance wasn’t FLAWLESS, and I’m on some of her jumps I might give a negative GOE, as the skating world develops, it’s common to see young skaters land huge jumps. I landed my axel when I was 7! What level are you on?
I really hope she doesn't develop any eating disorders. Being in this sport and having immense pressure can do that to you with perfection weighed down on you.
It isn't rare for figure skaters to develop eating disorders, so I get where you are coming from. Though, there is a high likelyhood of this not happening, if, this young lady truly loves the sport. Having an eating disorder can ruin your entire health. (if it gets serious) So I believe that this young lady will not develop any.
Ryo Nakamura I’d like to believe that too, but as she gets older, more and more pressure will be on her to do even greater things, even greater than what she’s doing right now. Sometimes the passion you hold for a sport can slowly dissipate, especially under the pressure of having to improve and impress constantly ;_; Either way, I think she will do great things in the world of skating!
@@preciousjoiner2447 ik what you mean, its the same not just for sports but any kind of hobby or skill too. Plus, excessive/compulsive exercise is part of a disorder too, so i really hope she keeps herself at her best because i can tell she'll be going places!!
especially in a place like korea... seems like its not a serious thing in some countries to not look so lean as long as you can do the tricks and perform well but korea’s obsessed with appearances too
In my book, what separates a good skater from a great skater is what they do with their arms. The artistry element of her ballerina like movements added so much.
There are so many talented young skaters now! More than her jumps (there are a lot of young jumping beans), she has nice presence, grace, and musicality especially for her age. Her edges already look promising too. I think those things are being so overlooked these days in favor of just big jumps.
I'm just wondering if yuna and her have the same coach ? (Don't get me wrong I'm not comparing her with yuna .. it's just if you train under the same coach .. i don't how to describe it 🤔 it's like a specific trademark that you will see that will make you say *ahh that's definitely coach *** student*) .. her movements are flawless and elegant already .. I hope to see her competing in the winter olympics in the future ♥️♥️
She is 9 yrs old for those of you who are criticizing her do you have any idea how difficult this is,this young girl is amazing we need to follow her career she is going places super talented.
Her: perfect technique, great fluidity, lots of strength, amazing balance, beautiful face, talented, incredible acting Me: *Still trying to put my leg up my leg up to my ear after one while year of ballet training and I’m 13* (*´-`)
I'm really sorry. I'm not saying she isn't talented. She is, and I'm excited to see what she has planned for the future. But to say that she has flawless technique is untrue, and it upsets me that good technique seems so rare nowadays. Again, I may sound harsh, and maybe I am, but I can't stand letting something untrue be said. I don't mean to offend you or call you a liar. I don't know if you figure skate. If you don't, then I definitely don't blame you for thinking she has good technique. If you are a skater, then I hold your coach responsible for teaching you that. I don't figure skate, but I have been studying it enough so that I recognize excellent technique. I'm not going to point out her mistakes, but I just really hope that someone corrects her before it's too late. Best wishes for her future, whatever it may be!
@@2Y1720 yep. She puts her blade down in toe jumps, causing her to prerotate more than she should (not good technique). She is still a brilliant skater though ^_^
I was blown away and then I realised the performance hadn’t even started! This really is phenomenal, I have never tried figure skating, but I know it takes skill, strength and balance. This performance really shocked me.
