We do not currently offer a repair service for Jibo, though we do hope to have that sometime in the future. I was an early backer who got cut due to being overseas - I really thought that this was vaporware. Still don't trust the company at all as they burned a lot of early backers.

Sounds like he's on his early stages of collecting data? You asked about ordering food and he could not, the commercial showed he could? Or he needs to be paired to your phone? Thank you for subscribing. I do plan on uploading a new Jibo video in the next few weeks. He really can’t do most of what was advertised and just says, “Some day I bet I’ll be able to do that.” My Amazon Echo already does all that stuff and more. All except the photos I guess but Jibo’s photos aren’t very good.
We become more friends with modern technology where some of us have already forgotten our parents and other family members actually they are not a robot 🤖 they are alive and waiting for us to call them every single day so try to be with your loved ones as much as you can since our life is very short and we don’t have any idea when our times come 😇
Jibo lost the game one year ago, when they cut off thousands of backers around europe, asia... the whole world except USA and Canada. Almost 4 years of research to create a king size Siri with moving head? Right now there are lot of more functional and more funny robots. And when they cut off the backers, they also disabled comments for all users on youtube and facebook. I would be really stupid to support or purchase a product from a company acting like this. By the way, jibo youtube videos still have comments disabled? This company is a pretty example of what we should avoid.
+melene foti I’m sorry to hear they did that. I think they really underestimated how difficult making Jibo would be. Turning off the comments was a shady move though. They could have handled that better.
But does it learn based on the person. Can you ask it advice and get responses comparable to a persons? Otherwise, it would seem only like a fancy robot with a clever preset algorithm.
Technical support for setups outside the US and Canada will not be provided. Although I was waiting 2 y for Jibo , after 3 months have hardware problems and they do want to help me. i.e. even to support costs involved ,but not the warranty.
Geek Home Living but they improve him via software updates- so does it matter if you buy it now or wait? I won’t have to buy a new Jibo when it’s more useful later, it will just update the current Jibo
+mrk107 you may be right. He already looks like he could be from Apple. Jibo’s ability’s would likely benefit if he was acquired by a big company like Apple, Google or Amazon.
It really did take that long. I had given up hope they would ever deliver the order. Every few months they would send and update saying it would be out soon and then that would get pushed back. Unfortunitly I think the Jibo project was just too ambitious.
