Depends what you're talking about on technical ability, I'd put Oswin/Locksmith/KAAN in that category as the way they can structure stuff is insane too. Lyrically I'd also put all 3 well above JID just in terms of content and metaphors/entendres. JID is incredibly smooth on beats though and has a better flow than the others with maybe the exception of Lock.
JID is genuinely elite and it's all because he can rhyme as well as anyone else but is also using alliteration in long strings throughout those bars. Throughout it all, it comes out smooth af. I'm a fan, man.

Even after hearing this track for +50 times and with the lyrics of JID's verse, sometimes you just trip over words or breathing is getting harder to control. Fucking fire. This whole verse is so damned well oiled, it's art.
Since I'm here- if you're an aspiring artist that's ever intimidated by these videos and having some self doubt, DON'T. Everyone is meant to be great differently. And if you're a lyric focused person, don't get down trying to mimic what you find great already. Make your own stories, you'll naturally make amazing shit. Same goes for singers, musicians etc. Never be discouraged just because you're not where you wanna be yet. Yes, I will be posting this on all his upload from here on out as a REMINDER.
