Thing about crappie fishing is it can get just as crazy as bass fishing 😂. Jigging rods, reels, various lengths of rods. And there is tons of baits out there that catch crappie lol.
Oh and bro try a double jig rig with a 1/32 on the top and 1/16th on the bottom you can sometimes catch more when using a double jig rig because you are fishing two depths at once.

I think this is my first time commenting, but man keep it up. Just watching your channel has made me a better bass fisherman. Because of you i invested in a kayak, and trolling motor to be able to cover more water. Working on trying to get the content aspect going any nuggets you have greatly appreciated.
Man I have been a subscriber on your channel for a few months this now and love it. But I love crappie fishing better than bass fishing . I like how you don't have the expensive rod and reels for crappie fishing I use the phluger reels for trout and crappie fishing g and I love them. Do a catch and cook with bluegill you won't be disappointed they are very good. Grind them up and cook them like you would make salmon Patty's. Keep up the great work
Its Alabama bro we have various species of bass, you can do striper, hybrids, white bass, yellow bass, shoal bass, crappie, a dozen sunfish species, catfish, carp, gar and bowfin just to name some off the top of my head lol.
Got that expensive bfs setup and using sponning gear to crappie fish lol. Id be making that pricey bfs setup earm its place 😂😂. If its a decent bfs setup it will cast crappie lures really well.
Shouldnt catch and keep fish off their beds or during the spawn. They need to reproduce and be able to protect their nest. you can kill a healthy population by doing that.
