I rarely ever thread a chunk. I go to a beaver or craw for that. I always tip a chunk. I just like that flow. If I'm using a chunk I don't want flutter. It's normally only in early spring when the big craws come out to play.

I always wondered how to use them effectively. Great video. I only carry the zoom super chunks in two colors. Black and blue and also green pumpkin.

Nailed the audio on this one! Also, never thought about threading a trailer more forward than dead center. I'm not a huge fan of a meaty trailer because it takes up so much of the hook. However, threading more forward you get more of a gap in the opening where the hook is. Always learn something new from you bro!

Add a piece of Senko or plastic worm on the shank and then trim some of the meat off the chunk with some scissors. Used to do the same with pork chunks

If I'm going to use a chunk it's going to tip hook the chunk. My reasoning is simple I want a big profile. If I'm going to thread on a trailer I use my version of a Guido bug or a 709 craw.

Another good info video. Do you prefer the chunk over any other type of trailers, like grubs, crawls, or creatures?
@TackleJunky81
@TackleJunky81 5 лет назад
I like a chunk in colder water, but as soon as it warms up I'll go with a craw or creature.

I have a hard time getting trailers on straight. How do you know how far to thread it on the hook? Do you have a video on how to thread them on straight?

Some constructive criticism " Limit hand gestures. " One of the first rules of public speaking is, " Don't let the manner distract from the matter ". As I was taught. Good luck !
