God, i watched this anime about 5 years ago, and watching the live action version of it, makes me so nostalgic. Remember back on the anime, and watching this, i couldn't resist but to say exactly what was going to happen next. I was expecting a bit more on Ai Enma, how she was this absolutely astonishing, breath taking, "doll", in the anime. But, nonetheless, i still love this.
Wow, the live action "Hell Girl" is well done, keeping some same elements as the original anime. Powerful emotional scenes. I want to watch the rest of the series.
The live action series usually have older actors, actresses for the viewing audience. They decided not to use a young child, instead an older girl to play the part.
@@user-vo7rz5kg8b i will be a little criticize here, but when i saw here in Enma Ai role i feel only pain. They mouth is to big (ok this is stupid) but, i feel may be 5/100 of pain and depresion that original Enma Ai have. That's is sooo bad :(
I'm not that much of a fan to anime series turning into live actions, but this first episode is made well, and I like it , hope next episodes won't dissapoint me.
I want to see movie when the bullies die brutally. 😂😂😂 not satisfied with this episode. The meam girl should jump from the roof and her brain just splattered😂😂😂
I don't understand why so many people refuse to believe in Japan vicious Bullying, is something real www.dw.com/en/why-is-bullying-so-vicious-in-japanese-schools/a-46074534
I've been really sad since finishing the series. Learned about the live action - I'm going to savor this! Edit: just finished watching this... I'M SO IMPRESSED! I didn't think it'd be this good - wow. My only con was Enma Ai not having red eyes, but one scene, with the sunlight hitting her face, showed that she does have the red eyes. Wow. Watching the series first actually seems better, because you know who the characters are (those who serve "the mistress"). So happy to have found this.
*The rest is all good, they leave her alone, and she opens her bag to throw away doll* "Man, life has been so goo-" *The string was torn off by accident* ".."
I really like the live action Ai Enma, she's a very good actress tho her voice brings down my spine a bit because it's a little bit childish than Enma's but despite of it, the live action is a huge success😍😍😍
... So instead of telling her mother, teachers, and police about the bullying/assaults/harassment or recording them for evidence, she chooses to basically sell her soul? K
I think it has to do with the fact that, in Japan, you're seen as a nuisance if you dare to bother the harmony and shift it. So if you go to report being bullied/assaulted/harassed, they're going to turn the tables on you for bothering the police when you know they can't do much anyways.
Just be glad you're born into a good environment. Other people aren't lucky enough to adapt this kind of mentality due to other people around them. That's why people commit suicide or murder. They lacked the support of the people around them which anyone needs
Honestly when someone is giving you a hard time and no matter what you do you can't get away from them, no matter how much you beg for them to leave you alone, and no matter how much you try to ignore it but they keep torturing you... sometimes when you know that everything in your life would just be perfect if they were gone, than maybe just maybe you will do anything, risk anything, to see them go through the hell they put you through.
Well it’s fine when it’s in anime form with a voice actress being the one to send people to hell, when it’s a little girl in real life who’s doing that part then I'm slightly uncomfortable with the knowledge of a poor girl being influenced or exposed to this kind of stuff.
@@naomiwillowsyayme7151 If you read the manga you would know she was a kid. Ai Enma was sacrificed when she was 7 years old to a pagan Japanese God. This is the purpose of the story, to have a child doing everything.
I'm discovering this live action (didn't know it) and brough me back a lot of memories. AMAZING memories!! This 1st season's remake is a nuclear bomb! But if this comment would be read by anyone here and now (2020), can you send me THE MOVIE (yes, the movie) link?
ok one thing i find weird is that. the photo of her with another guy, there is nothing wrong in it. why cant they assume that she was with her boyfriend and if they feel like the guy was way too old she can say it was my faraway uncle who i met after many years and i want to pickup him from the station. and i don't think uncle holding shoulder is bad. all my uncles are like:- HEY! How have you been last time i saw you, you were so short. you are so tall now!
Its because on the anime in the photo the guy looked old and his hands where on her shoulder and was looking lustfully at her and she looked darn scared on the pic and the background is where prostitutes always hang around
thoes three are right if she lied about he is distan friend cousin uncle it will make it wosre like they said its a place where hookers hang around when i watched that as well i also was confouse why she get into huge truble just beacuse of this photo i thought maybe he was a teacher or something eals? but now reading this it now made sense
The actress was actually too old to play Enma Ai. She’s way older than Enma Ai in manga & anime. She looked like she was around 16-18 yrs old, like a high school girl. Enma Ai was 13 yrs old when she died & was small & petite. The hime cut on her hair was also vague because it wasnt cut well. I watch this long time ago 2008-2009 & my opinion hasnt changed since then. However she’s pretty & did a good job acting as Enma Ai. The live action was also well made.
