It is so good to see PizzaFlix again!! I voted,supported you to remain on RU-vid,when you were stating you may not be able to remain on the site.I hope you won't need to go through that experience,gain,and if you do,I will support you,again! This was published in U-tube Sept, 2012. In view of recent events in particular, along with the thoughts of one commentator "times don't change" makes me think that some things are long planned. Long live "the Charlies", the true heros of this world but as you see, they are the ones that don't live long. Fear is a great controller. It acts like wildfire. And none seem to know the best course of events to keep it contained. Can we learn from the past? Films certainly are the way to remind us of historical facts even if it is clothed in fiction.

Wow, I was really surprised to see an uncredited appearance by John Garfield (the guy reading the newspaper that stood outside the building (at 23:07 playtime) and said "You're new around here, huh?" and also Everett Sloan, Mr. Bernstein in Citizen Kane, who appeared momentarily as the liquor delivery man). Pretty cool. Some funny lines and entertaining, but not a very serious movie. Corny, in a good way. I enjoyed it.

A very good look in this film especially in the final scenes. "I Love Trouble" on RU-vid with Franchot Tone is one of my favorites. The copy of that is rough in spots but that's the way it is even on the DVD. It should be restored. A great sound track as well. Roy Huggins went on to do many excellent telvision dramas.

At the beginning? They found 'the gun' in the printer's hand (at least a gun) that was assumed to be the weapon that killed him (no ballistics back then?). The killer was wiping something down before he put it in his pocket - I assumed that he was just cleaning up his pocket watch 😊

Nothing like a good "who done it," is there, only this one was a bit short. Still, it's a genre that I love, short or long. There are just as many murders in the modern day "Midsummer" series but somehow the morals are a bit less defined.

Too obvious, keeps hitting the audience over the head with the premise. I get, it they’re bad guys. They make a lot of money promoting hate. They kill to retain their anonymity. They don’t let the viewer figure anything out for themself. Or even make up their own minds.
It was, but that’s ok. It was for a noble cause. I think it was a crap movie, not for the subject or it’s take on it, but for the writing and dialogue. PREJUDICE IS BAD!! Ok, got it.
@mm devolange I wasn't saying this was worse than many noir--- it isn't. Saying unusual that Franchot was in something this poorly made. But I'm guessing he liked the story a lot and wanted to help.
