What an interesting concept: letting the policies of how the economy is run being decided by the bottom majority rather than the few in the controlling top. Interesting.
Economic Democracy! Now there is a concept! The best thing about Jill Stein is that she rejects the standard political poles and instead shows actual thought on every issue. Make America Smart Aagain!
The way this country is currently running its market is a lot like directly after some countries in Africa gained independence from Europe in the 1960s and tried democracy which devolved into oligarchy who ran the markets to put money into their pockets.
Wow, this is amazing. She's not religious by doing what's right and letting that speak for itself instead of choosing from labels such as capitalism and socialism to do what's right.
Economic democracy is more like a way of organizing a company than a way of organizing a country/government. It means a system in which all the workers in a company have a proportional say in basic decision like how much each worker makes (as opposed to traditional companies in which management makes most decisions, which is like "economic dictatorship").
says shes agianst state socialism then goes on to define it and say shes for it without realizing state socialism is economic democracy(all socialism is economic democracy) jill is probably confusing this with state capitalism.
What does Jill believe about "Social Security"? shouldn't the, tired of working all their lives elderly, have a secure life in their remaining years when they will face many hardships for having worked all those years. Exposure to deadly; cancer causingchemicals and skeletal/muscular breakdown from repetitive and back breaking work throughout working peoples lives is sacrifice enough and should be rewarded; even if; society pays out more than workers pay into Social Security. Can't both systems be blended like many countries where; not perfect; there is a balance between Capitalism and Socialism. If She does not believe in some Social programs; then I will have to think twice about voting for her!
She's repeating the "doesn't exist" as if that's a reason valid enough to discredit free markets. People who resort to this argument don't understand the market and have no idea that there are pockets of free markets today that provide services without the dangers she describes. If money o an asset were to accumulate to a few, then in a free market that person or business position would be weakened because anyone who is also interested in making money would gladly take position in that area of business in order to service customers who can not purchase what the other business has. This is not rocket science and people have been indoctrinated to believe these government lies. She looks intelligent, but she obviously fails to understand economics from the free market perspective.
