My granddaughter died of brain cancer when she was almost 6 years old, she was diagnosed when she was 11months old, many many surgeries and chemotherapy and radiation and the tumor kept coming back. The last tumor that came back she died at home. She spent most of her little life in the hospital ( Loma Linda Children's hospital)

Wow, her sister has been diagnosed with a glioblastoma tumour, very aggressive, very hard to treat. Ive lost 3 young patients in 3 weeks from this horrific tumour...
glassbabies are soo much more to one than just a figurine.. i got a few different pieces all around . & for my sisters ..they both were diagnosed. one is still dealing 3rd time around. :( . Glass babies are fun to collect or find. and great for "healing of the mind gift . My sisters know I care & these beautiful pieces always reminds them of me love. .
Listening to an excellent discomentry on rock radio- so interesting how during 1990 - 91 A new way of tracking the best selling records/artists came to be used instead of the 1940's method which used billboard to track record sales. This old method often failed the fans & because billboard depended on record sale clerks making min wage, to relay record sales, things were undoubtedly lack & indifferent- also many cheated results came out of record reps lining those record store clerks empty pockets with lots of reasons to rig their answers @ comply. BUT....... The new device acutely computerized - recorded each record sale & finally these sales reflected the FANS opinion!!!! Wow, can I can remember saying to my BF countless times, - how did this band get on the radio or the best one: where, what, why & how does anything with a pulse find this catchy???? Bingo, no one does. (Except the tone deaf executive plugging this stuff, lol.). I remember watching Nirvana on Much Music & thinking to myself- that's gonna be big....... I loved it duuuuude. Course when Pearl Jam came on the scene, I fuckin freaked & to this day they represent the 90's for me. Hope Eddie is happy & content with his lovely family. Take care Eddie, you mean so much to a whole generation of people.

I love the couple and she is an adorable person. Could someone say though if she has had a personal bout with cancer? I notice a scar and thought that maybe, without disrespect, she might have gone through that horrible problem herself?
Denise (jills sister) changed the name from babes against brain cancer to fight like denise.She also deleted all the pics of her and Jill together and they are no longer fb friends.. so...I guess there has been a big fight.
@Keith Spencer Not a commie, but have lived in Europe and experienced their high quality on life due to democratic socialist policies. And BTW, I was working in Europe legally (capitalistically you could say) and am a successful business owner. Never been on government benefits. I did go to public schools. I drive on public roads and bridges, as do you. Does that "socialism" bother you? And for the record, I'm still very happy with my affordable Obamacare health coverage. Lori Castady Rechecking everything with this family tree entry below which was updated last 2010 and which SHOULD reflect by now at 2014 Vedder's previous and current marriages and the birth of his 2 children. Why hasn't it been updated to reflect his present status? Isn't that too long a gap which either shows that everything is so inefficient OR they are NO documents to support his claim of fathering 2 daughters and marrying 2 women. All I'm saying is everything should be kept in order to reflect integrity, honesty and transparency in charity work especially. You obviously haven't seen a recent photo of the two daughters that Eddie and Jill share. The oldest (Olivia) resembles both of them and the youngest (Harper) resembles Jill. I have a link to a photo which was taken when they were all in Australia for the Pearl Jam festival tour which was in January this year. The photo was taken sidestage at the Big Day Out festival by a rock magazine photographer. The photo shows Eddie, Jill and their two girls looking very much like a happy family. I can send you the link if you would like to see it. So what if it's not on the family tree? Maybe Eddie has requested to keep it private? He is a very private person and hates publicity, remember ?

He changed his last name, Mueller, to his mother's maiden name, Vedder. He and his stepfather didn't get along, so Eddie probably wanted to cut ties with him.
