Jim Aleski is a 22-year veteran of the fire service. A career firefighter in the Philadelphia metro area, Jim is also the Social Media Director for the Professional Firefighters Association of New Jersey (the PFANJ), the state level affiliate of the IAFF. He is a frequent speaker on such topics as stakeholder and media engagement and the use of social networking tools by emergency services agencies.
Prior to becoming a career firefighter, Jim responded as a volunteer while working for over a decade full-time as a media producer. He was involved in the production of hundreds of national TV commercials, network branding campaigns, music videos, corporate communication projects and more.
Jim holds a Bachelors in Mass Communications from Emerson College and a Masters in Fire and Emergency Management Administration from Oklahoma State University.
