I wanted to find out if Jim Carrey was willing to do a sequel and I'm so glad he is. He used to refuse sequels, but I absolutely loved him in the movie. Him saying he aimed for adults with the comedy made sense, because I laughed at everyone of his scenes. I also never minded the many children watching the movie. It was great to know another generation will love Sonic moving forward. It means I get more and more Sonic content, especially since Segs has been great at appealing to long term fans as of late.

is this the first carrey film u lot have seen, after the likes of truman show, the mask, ace ventura, grinch... people saying that this acting was epic, or amped up to 11 are crazy!! if anything he was asked to tone it down for this movie. thinking the next movie with him as proper robotnik will be a different matter though. then youll see some epicly amped up stuff from him.

Possibly already knows who's on board? You know they already had the plan to do the sequel. But him spit balling a name probably suggest he either don't want to say because some people are already on board (one already before the sequel) and he doesn't want to say someone else's name while they've already gotten people. He seems like the kind of guy who stays away from guessing on those sorts of matters.

One of our favorite childhood actors featured in a movie about one of our favorite video game characters of our childhood. Yeah this is definitely a movie for kids, but for the kids that still live inside all of us, those kids that grew up in the 90's, playing the games and watching Jim Carrey on TV, this movie gave us the opportunity to be kids once again for 2 hours.

I'm hoping the sequel focuses on Metal Sonic. They could even make it so that Robotnik uses that Sonic quill to power Metal Sonic and make him able to keep up with the original.

sonic 2 should introduce metal sonic as a villain that robotnik uses the sonic quill to make, is no way for them to do shadows origins in thees films like in the games and doubt will be a clone so not sure what his backstory would be

@@cianshamrock7112 I beg to differ. I can see him either be voiced by Micheal J Fox or David Kauffman, aka the voice of Danny Phantom. Laura Baily should return as Blaze the Cat and the voice actors who play Orbot and Cubot should reprise their roles as I can see Orbot and Cubot in the future sequels if the film becomes a smash commercial hit.

My 9 year old niece made the LOUDEST horrified gasp when she saw the T-rex bite! She ended up loving the movie, even turning to me and saying, "I really like him (Robotnik)." She had a blast. We all had a blast. Thank you for putting such a great foot forward in this role, Jim.

My 13 year old nephew and myself 31 both loved Jim Carrey as Robotnik, we both felt that the director and casting director picked the perfect actor for the movie. And for the part or Robotnik, we both felt he along with the character Change for Sonic made for the perfect movie of the gaming genre. Fantastic movie.

I love that Jim Carrey has put a lot of thought into his character, his past, his motivations and the character's relation to other characters. A lot of actors probably only do what they're told on set without really caring to put much thought into the details of their character

Everyone wants to see their favorite Sonic character in the sequel, i want to see Robotnik run away from Sonic at supersonic speed. It's just too funny! Robotnik would just pump himself with sonic energy and zoom away, while cackling, and Sonic is just like "What the-?".
