Thank you for sharing that gem - “your only limitation is fear.” That is something I needed to hear today in a completely different context. Nonetheless, I hope to do some busking and I will apply that wisdom as I get ready to do so.
What a tough tough life is that of a busker! If you can attract a crowd and entertain successfully outside then in my opinion you can be successful anywhere! Trial by fire and if you can’t do it,especially if it’s your main source of money/income,then you can go hungry!Buskers are definitely unsung heroes!Great topic!Excellent presentation! Thanks again, really enjoyed it.
I agree Kalvin. It is a tough life but reading his bio I realized even though there were days he went to bed hungry he was a happy man and he gave joy to many.
Love watching your videos but this one way too cool..! I think Cellini was an amazing magician... He Loved what he did and he lived a life as many never will... Only a few will ever experience a life of true Freedom like he did!
Thanks a lot loved this and thanks that you did this one mr. dillman your great keep up the great work and giving us more knowledge magicians needs this...I always watch your RU-vid videos wow
This was a very interesting video I've always thought of myself as a street magic guy but I think from this video I realize I'm a little bit of a busker I love the story about him being locked out of his theater I am a locksmith so I think it's funny to hear that and I love about what you said about fear that is the truth you can perform as much as you want if you are not afraid to perform I have never heard anyone tell me no I don't like magic and I don't want to see a trick
Actually my girlfriend does not want to see any magic tricks at least as long as they are performed by me because every trick ends with a feedback discussion ggg
@@douglasoverholt1463 you mean stuff like the Magic Kiss Card Trick? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6GckaLr6OSU.html or ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-thWI9JJqU8U.html xD Do you have a performance of straws into heart tokens which I can watch?
@@markusdeminger6258 hahaha hahaha do it all the time this is one of my favorite ones I call it the Dynamo kiss cuz that's where I first saw this at really good one what kind of magic you do my man I'm a street magician right now but I'm looking at the stage I'm saving up for some big illusions
I was wondering if it is too inpolite to approach people on the street directly and ask them if they wanna see a magic trick or if the magician /busker rather should stand at a spot and invite people to come over to see magic. What do you guys think?
Jim Cellini was my father my name is Stephen Sullivan and his real name was Richard Timothy Patrick Sullivan. I have his magic rings do you know if anybody that would like them, free. ley me know
Hi Stephen, it is so nice to meet you! Thank you so much for adding your comments to this discussion and for introducing yourself. Have you thought of offering them to Eileen McFalls? www.noordinarymagic.com/about I think she would treasure your gift
