JIM CLARK won the 1965 Tasman Series Championship, racing in New Zealand and Australia in his LOTUS Coventry-Climax 32B. See him here, driving to a great win in Round 5 at Warwick Farm, in New South Wales, Australia, on February 14, 1965.
Jack Brabham came in second with Frank Matich third. Other point scorers were Bib Stillwell fourth, Graham Hill fifth and Jim Palmer sixth.
Our favourite quote:
"Jim Clark gets used to not having a complete gearbox and begins to catch Hill... setting a new lap record of 86.35mph (139.88kmh) in the process."
