Dear TK: If your wrestling show was good, you'd be filling these arenas. Period.

WWE have bigger attendances on house shows at small arenas than AEW Dynamite in the past 2 years. There's no "5 year old new company" excuse to defend that.

More people have watched this clip in the first 10 minutes than Dynamite's weekly attendance

Everything about AEW is diminishing except the money Tony has to pay his talent.

I live in Michigan and I actually went to the first dynamite in Detroit, but I can tell you they do 0 fucking local advertising. They don't put anything in the local news, nothing on the radio, nothing at the local sports games. The Detroit Tigers had a WWE night last year in June to advertise summerslam, and they even had Otis and Gable there.

From what I hear, TNA is outdrawing AEW these days (not to mention they have a better product). Their concession stands during intermission are probably more packed than the crowds at Dynamite.

My biggest complaint about AEW is the fact that people kick out of everything. A finishing move is a finishing move for a reason.

Brian made a great point. Too many times, we've seen people in AEW just vanish for weeks. Even months. With little to no explanation. So you don't know what you're gonna get when you buy tickets. In WWE, you know you're gonna see the big stars. Cody, Punk, Mcintyre, Rhea, LA Knight, etc. That's why fans are more comfortable spending money with WWE. Even for house shows.

I saw my first live show at Rupp Arena in 2001. The main event was Austin vs Rock. 24,000 packed in for a house show. If only I knew just how lucky I was to witness history. Lexington is my hometown so Ive seen many shows over the years. From tv tapings to ppvs but its hard to top that first one lol.

The biggest turnoff on any wrestling show is the crowd, or in AEW's case, lack thereof. If your wrestling show sounds like an indoor community pool, that's going to turn me off.

There's always an excuse for why they can't draw a Crowd to their TV. A killer on the loose, it's Football or Baseball or Basketball or Hockey Season, the Presidential Debate, it was raining outside. The Diehards can't admit that the Product sucks and Tony Khan doesn't know what he's doing.

They need to go to smaller buildings, it must be devastating for the wrestlers to see chairs everywhere and the crowd noise just coming from one corner. A small arena like TNA, NXT, ECW etc would look great with 2-3k people in it. But what do I know? I'm not booker of the year 🤷‍♂️

Born and raised in East Kentucky. Lived in Lexington the last two decades. Wrestling is not as popular here as it use to be but WWE can still roll in and sell 10,000 tickets in a 20,000 seat arena for a hot show or angle. And they don't advertise much more than AEW does. AEW is just not a strong product right now. Which is a bummer to me. Yes, like so many, I can't stand AEW's booking, but I want them to succeed. I want as many places as possible where talent can work live TV and make a good check. My hope is, eventually, Tony will bring in a seasoned booker. But, like so many others, I just doubt that will happen.

The reason no one is showing up is because they got stuck in traffic because so many people wanted to come to an aew show

I’ve been saying it since AEW started, Tony doesn’t have any strategy beyond copying things he grew up watching. The only reason he books the arenas he books is because he recognizes the names from old days.

I was at the show. I've been going to events at Rupp Arena for over thirty years and I said "wow" when I saw all of the tarped off sections and empty seats. I've never seen it look that empty for a show airing nationally. The ticket I got was certainly affordable (less than $20 for a good seat) so it wasn't the prices.

Many people did not believe the reports this time last year about the Grand Slam show not selling out, and a bunch of tickets (the ones I got included) were comped to various places. What did they expect in other places if they lost the New York City area market?

I've now lived in 4 different states where I didn't see an AD for AEW live until 2 weeks AFTER the show. Meanwhile I went to WrestleMania 40 and did shots with Ric Flair. The irony is killing them not me.

WWE Survivor Series distributed 15K ticket out of the initial 17K tickets available on the day they officially sold the ticket. They distributed 7K ticket out of 9k tickets for SNME in Dec on the day they open for ticket sale while AEW still stuck at 2-3 even until show time for TV 😂😂

The thing that kills me right now is how they're accusing WWE of stealing Mercedes Moan ideas with Megan Thee Stallion.
