One of the best interviews I've ever heard happened during that early period.....Bobby Simmons.....Simmons was the head referee / office liaison for the Georgia territory in the 1970's. Simmons was there for everything....Ray Gunkel owning the territory after his purchase from promoter Paul Jones......Gunkel's untimely death.....the split between Ann Gunkel and the other NWA promoters.....Ole Anderson's ascension to part-owner of the territory.....Ole's pushing Jim Barnett out of the territory....fascinating interview. The other great interview I remember that Last did on the early 605 was with Marc Gullen (The House of Gullen, Teijo Khan, Yomamba The Jungle Savage, etc.) Gullen was hilarious and sadly missed, RIP 😞
