Jim has to struggle with his own negative experiences in the wrestling industry with his old school knee jerk reflex to protect that same business

If you notice, Jim's criticism of the people who speak out comes from his opinion of the person speaking. If some nobody like Lana or Ryback complains, he questions why she's complaining when he feels she wasn't worth the tv spot in the first place. Notice when danielson or punk or hardy complains, he takes it a bit more into consideration. And also notice the "abuse" from positions of power usually relates to the souring of angles or pushes. Not necessarily feelings check like lots of millenials like myself seem to complain about "toxicity". Its usually down to money. That's it. Sour a good push and you cost everyone money. Not these creative feelings so many people who leave WWE complain about.

The thing is that Lana's speaking out about some "brainwashing" because she didn't like to do the job! That's it! She thought she was entitled to be in the upper card and didn't like the fact that she couldn't draw enough to be a main eventer. That's why she's saying this stuff now that she's doing movies, she thinks WWE didn't believe in her potential for greatness or something. The thing those people don't understand is that wrestling needs job guys too, there's no shame in being one, they have value, it's just not big as the main eventers. Lana didn't like this and thought she was entitled to more. Millions of people would do anything to work as a job guy for the WWE, she wasn't frying burgers at friggin McDonald's or being abused in any way elsewise she would've sued the crap out of them. It's just entitlement, nothing more. The difference about her complaining and Punk complaining is that Punk's actually a good wrestler, with both in ring skills and mic skills. And who on top of that can draw a lot. If he complains and speaks out about the wrestling industry then of course people are gonna take what he says more seriously, that's why his perspective has more weight than her's.

I knew friends like that, keyword "knew". Basically it's a woman who doesn't want to ever feel guilty for any of her actions or short comings, rather than learn from it. Considering she's probably getting more pay for better working conditions and less work on those terrible movies, it arguably is. WWE talent make a lot of money by everyday standards, but by the more comparable comparisons to other fields of entertainment and pro sports, even the top talent are making relative peanuts, which is the point.

Dought she's making more money making straight to sifi channel movies she's an adiot and she and her type are what ruined wrestling and continue to ruin it to this day period

A lot of Jim’s fans don’t realize that he’s playing something of a character on his podcast. That is to say he’s as over the top and judgmental and harsh as possible when he’d actually have more nuanced opinions in an actual discussion. Personally I’m not a fan of a lot of things he says about some females in the business. Not to mention his bizarre belief in adherence to kayfabe in this day and age.
