And generation me hit a super kick, and another that 17 super kicks and two count. Tna sacked you young bucks( I'm 46 so I don't get to use tags like young , what's that? Ones 39 ? And he's gone with young buck ? They what? Go to church and use that name? ) 18 super kick and 2 count ..
As funny as what Jim says @ 8:00 is, he's actually 100% correct. I mean, really think about what Jim said. They erased Raygun from the Olympic archives, but *NOT HITLER* . That's nuts.
Its a fuun6 joke but not serious Erasing one is erasing the historical context of one of the greatest monsters of the 20th century Erasing Rayguns performance is just not showing a crappy performance
@@TheEvolver311 that's one way to look at it. Another perspective is that showing Hitler from the 30s doesn't really cost the Olympics anything in 2024, but showing Raygun highlights the nepotism and incompetence within modern Olympic organizations.
I don't think there's any offical "Olympic archives". They have a RU-vid channel and a website, but there's no Hitler on there either. You can find clips of him at the '36 olympics, but that's from other sources, which also applies to Raygun.
The longer we have to live with the world in the current state, girls like Hawk Tuah will get over every single time. The only thing you have to do as a woman in 2024 is just look fu##ing normal.
In the UK we had an Olympic Ski Jumper called Eddie The Eagle, who only got into the Olympics as there was literally nobody else in Britain even doing it. Thus he qualified by default and went to the 1988 Olympics with no team, money, coaches, training facilities ect. He literally did everything DIY off his own back and obviously came dead last. However his charming personality, plucky attitude, and clear underdog status endeared him to people despite losing badly. He became a celebrity to the point that they've literally made movies about him, as he embraced the attention.
@@martinsexton3580 yeh that's right I'm old enough to remember Eddie & he was right to lean into it he became a star in the UK and still remembered today
@badladyami to be fair he WAS athletic, and quite good at ski jumping. But the problem was that while he was better than 95% of the population, the Olympics and such requires you to be in the top 1%. But because Britain didn't really have any other ski jumpers, he was the best by default. The equivalent would be getting someone who is 6 foot 3 and comparing them to NBA players. They are tall, just not in comparison to those guys.
Her and her bf controlled three “tryouts” and of course pushed her into the Olympics. They should be fined and jailed, as well as the Australian representatives that allowed this to happen.
I'm in two camps here. In the first camp, breakdancing should never have been an Olympic sport. I suspect there's either one or several good reasons why it was decided breakdancing wouldn't be returning in 2028 even before the events of the 2024 competition started. I'm willing to bet the committee knew, through the qualifiers, that something in the process wasn't working out right. In the second camp, I feel horrible for all the breakdancers of the world. The one time the globe put a spotlight on their activity, and their chance to get out there and demonstrate that this is something to be taken seriously, and all anyone is going to remember is Raygun out there moving like a six-year-old who just inhaled a bunch of pixie sticks. This is a blow to the legitimacy of their hobby that is going to take decades to recover from.
Main reason breakdancing was added was to try and draw in younger viewers. That was it. Olympics are now also doing this thing where the host can add at least 5 non-traditional sports to the games and what to not have at the games. Example: in 2028 Los Angeles will add flag football.
And worse is that the Australian Olympic committee is getting behind her like she’s dealing with trolls when it’s real criticism of how bad she was and why she was there instead of those who were better than her. And I think she hasn’t returned to Australia yet cause it seems some h who backed her have joined in on criticizing her after hearing about how she got there in the first place. Almost like she’s running from extradition back home but she’s avoiding facing the music.

The ban prevented the German branch from getting the ingredients it needed to make Coca-Cola, so instead it made a new drink that only used local ingredients. On a related note, Hitler didn't actually write Mein Kampf. He dictated it to fellow party member Rudolf Hess while he was in prison. Hess would then go on to abandon the Nazi party in 1941 and make his famous flight to Britain to try to negotiate a peace with elements of the British government that he thought would be open to negotiation with the Nazi government.
In its defence; Ballroom dancing, architecture, literature, and poetry have all been classed and represented as Olympic sports in the past. Also, breakdancing does seem rather physically intensive and also to a degree gymnastics in part. So you know, it isn't strictly unfeasible to see it at the Olympics
Real ‘break dancing’ requires incredible physical prowess, talent, and skill. You can also easily fold your spine in half if you are not physically in shape or skilled enough. I’ve seen ‘real break dancing’ competitions as an outsider to the ‘scene’, and I must say that it was some of the CRAZIEST stuff I’ve ever seen
And she sucked st breakdancing. I don't believe that what she did qualifies as breakdancing. Raygun may actually be a good dancer, but she sucked at breaking
While it would be amazing story if she and her husband were actually part of Australian Break Dancing Committee and used the leverage there to cheat her way in, that did not happen. The selection process was simply incredibly flawed, happening in only one event which most of Australia's break dancers did not have access to. Mind, I am not saying that her performance was actually amazing. It was a fucking joke, and the mockery is well deserved, especially when you look at every other competitor. But you shouldn't spread lies on the internet. It's not good.
@@AWBDream World DanceSport Federation and nine international judges. Raygun and her husband were NEVER part of the Australian Breaking Association, which was started by Lowe Napalan, who who at the time was already two time Aus breaking champion.
Breakdancing is a very athletic form of dance and has always been a core part of hip hop culture...but I hated it at the Olympics and raygun was just disrespectful 🤦🏾♀️
Ayumi is an old school B-Girl that learned from Ichigeki crew, one of Japan’s top units in the early 2000s… her sister Narumi is even older and still competes at the world level.
Spot on. That's definately something Ol' Don Stephens would do to get some spotlight. Wouldn't be shocked at all of she ended up doing the " Kangaroo Spot " right before jumping down to count A pin . She and Raygun both share something in common , insufferable and aloof
Well apparently husband was on the selection committee and even if she was told she was rubbish she's one of these people who are woke who accused people of being haters and she wrote a ridiculous thesis and break dancing about how it was a male dominated Sport and she cried years ago about being locked in her room for sympathy and even the Australian Parliament got ridiculed for sticking up for her
The funny thing is I keep seeing you tube videos of her battling and she is awful, lol but somehow wins the battles 😅 . Her opponents are not great either but better than her. She has been getting away with this a long time
Funny how everyone will simultaneously say they don't watch the Olympics, yet also be protective of what can be a sport. If gymnastics floor routines can be a sport, then so can breakdancing.
Pro wrestling and stand up are both forms of bullshit like magic. The more you legitimize and analyze them the less charming and entertaining they are and the more you just expose them as carny bullshit. The only people who would want to see pro wrestling in the Olympics is super smart fans because you wouldn't be judging it like a sport you would be judging it based on all of the inside smart shit that no normal fan or non fan would even understand and all it would do is completely force everyone in the world to know how pro wrestling works even if they have no interest
This is such a weird comment. Stand up can be studied, especially when it comes to theatre, storytelling, and the art of performance. I have no idea what you were trying to say lol
@@michaelromandel9022 well there fkn shouldn't be! Guarantee you no one involved in that shit is actually funny. Especially improv 🤮🤮🤮 let it die off with Vaudeville already
The Olympics used to be the epitome of amateur sports. It was always about an athlete’s ‘journey’ to the ‘big dance’ .. it was as much about the losers as it is about the winners. That’s why everyone loved it so much .. the one time like the World Cup that brings a nation together.
The modern Olympic Games originally were about proving the "supremacy of the white race" to justify the crimes of colonialism. Then they became about scamming as much money as possible. It's always the same old con. The host city/region falls for the promise of the wonderful profits everybody there is going to make from the Games and always, ALWAYS ends up millions in the hole. FIFA may be the only sports organisation on the planet that's more corrupt and filthy than the IOC. But it's a tight race...
on behalf of Australia i am so embrassed and sorry she tried to call this breakdancing jesus h christ this was beyond insulting. It wasn't anywhere close to actual break dancing it was like she was having a fit.
