"Master Technician" is a term that's really overused in pro wrestling. The technical wrestling skills typically seen in wrasslin' these days you could see in most junior colleges and even the odd high school program.

As much as people hate high flying wrestlers, technical wrestlers are drastically underrated. Drew Gulak made Bad Bunny, a guy who has never stepped in a ring, look decent for his wrestlemania match which tells me hes a great trainer.

In their defense, people look at these as if they are one roster instead of separate promotions. People watching Monday Night Raw or Smackdown aren't watching NXT UK which is a promotion that is localized to the UK region. Basically, everything under WWE is a farming promotion and because they are broadcasted people think its actually like one big promotion when its not.

Idc if Cornette don't like Asuka, I like Asuka. She's great. her booking sucks, but because she's Asuka trying to be American, she just.....gets over! And her matches are great and works easily with any woman, and can make those like Dana Brooke look better than they are. She makes my list for sure. I love that her & Charlotte have a Trish & Lita rivalry, even winning the Tag titles while she was Raw Champion.

@Wasp Factory I guess I'm a simp, but for Asuka, not Cornette. I came from the Kayfabe so Cornette was always hated, especially how his attitude for Shawn Michaels carried outside WWE. But with the confusion of AEW, Corny verifies I'm not going crazy and AEW isn't as great as projected by fans.

The top championship situation may be tricky with split rosters tho. Id keep both and have the tag, midcard and women belts be traded back and forth in between brands at joint PPVs.

Like I do in the video games making the world champion be on both shows RAW and smackdown and tag team championship same with women's champion. But I have the united state champion on a show and intercontinental champion on the other show.

I'm only 15 minutes in but I've only heard of Dave due to him featuring on the first episode of the World of Sport revival so I'm not surprised Jim's not heard of him if he's never wrestled for a major US promotion ( www.cagematch.net/?id=2&nr=2621&page=20 suggests he's been in quite a few places over the years but his TNA run seems to only have consisted of 5 matches over 2 years).

I haven't watched wrestling in 20 years, but I still come to Cornette because I enjoy hearing stories about the old days. I had no idea modern wrestling had gotten so convoluted and bloated. When I watched you had the heavyweight champ, who was the star of the company, the intercontinental champ who was on their way up, the million dollar mans belt, and the tag-team champs. That's it.
