AEW's "ROH" is the equivalent of what WWE's version of ECW was back in 2006

Tony's ROH will be even worse than Vince's version of ECW which, as some of you may remember, was the DRIZZLIN' SHITS!

The ending of that Pockets/Pac match was hysterical. I've never seen a crowd give less of a fuck at an ending.

So Claudio was just Fodder for Jericho. No build up whatsoever. A pretty common practice in AEW.

I went from watching every single AEW production for the first 2 years and waiting for it to get better to listening to Corny's reviews and hoping it would get better and now wishing it would fail so the good wrestlers could go work with HHH. AEW is hopeless unless TK gives up the reins to someone with experience

Couldn't agree more, Jericho as ROH Champion makes 0 sense. Especially having just been eliminated from the AEW world title tournament in the semis. Way to devalue the belt! 🙄 Put it on The American Dragon! He can Wrestle ROH style, he's an ROH legend, and he was a finalist, so has credibility and is a bigger star than over the hill Jericho.

Grand Slam didn’t sell out cause the Mets are actually good this year, last year when Grand Slam was on the Mets we’re already out of playoff contention hence people had nothing to spend their money on so they said “hey let’s go to an Aew show it’s right next to Citi field” now since the Mets are good, ticket prices went up hence they want to spend this money on them than an Aew show

Turns out there are some ROH fans who still think Tony's show couldn't possibly be worse than Jim's, though there were also a few ROH fans who came out to say they liked Cornette's ROH, or at least didn't have high hopes for Tony's, or were just there to dispute the claims "Cornette ran off Generico/Steen/Omega"...really, Omega saw himself out of ROH on several occasions and people are somehow trying to blame Cornette for it!

I think MJF's gimmick works because he is actually like that in real life. But that's a good thing. Everytime I see MJF I wanna smack him and somebody kicking his ass. But that means MJF is being a great heel for me so I salute him.

Dynamite grand slam was really good. Rampage was definitely the B show, it wasn't as good. The Acclaimed VS Swerve in our glory was never going to be able to match what they did at all out, still happy for Castor & Bowens.

I feel like Aew killed themselves after that whole media scrum, they had a chance to start fresh but they continued with the old and predictable, I don't wanna say it but even the Mjf stuff is boring because we've already seen and heard everything when he relesed that bombshell before he left. Aew and Wwe have no interesting stories or characters right now except for the bloodline but everything else is awful.

Jim is right Chris has no need for the ROH belt. Jim is right that him getting beat by Claudio would not have changed his push one bit. It would have helped ROH, and Claudio be seen as something big, that hey ROH is something to see. I think Brain is wrong Tony did this because he wants to keep Chris Jericho happy, or Chris got Tony'y ear. Then told him hey put the belt on me I can get ROH on TV again I am a big star. Even though like Jim said no way in hell Chris well defend the belt. He well never show up on ROH event, to help get it over. Showing these TV/streaming channels that ROH is not worth it, as the Champion of the place wonlt even show up. It is just like Hogan did Vince at WM9 when he got the belt back after Yoko won over Brat Hart. He never defended the belt until King of the Ring. To me AEW, and now ROH are Khans toy boxes. AEW Dynamite Grand Slam was awesome but what really grinds my gears as Peter Griffin would say it's the fact that Chris Jericho won the ROH world title but this might work hopefully they get a TV Deal that would be awesome and Chris Jericho isn't a heel since the fans are singing his song Chris is just bland IMO he can't stay relevant and away from a group to save his life.

I'm just asking ya. Why celebrities there? Bray's variant rapped the theme song for hook and work a match that was decent against JAS. But all the other rappers.
