It was great that AEW has some of the worst production crews and camera crews in all of pro wrestling? That's the kind of shit that makes maaaaany casual viewers (i.e. mainstream viewers, the vast majority of people) tune out and just go back to the more reliable WWE (a product with excellent production and doesn't have 5+ botches every TV show)

It felt like a missed chance for Cole to take a roll of quarters from Roddy and hit MJF in the back of the head. MJF’s played up the angle about bullies used to throw quarters at him when he was a child and he’s repeatedly stated that he’s “vulnerable” now… that felt like the perfect opportunity to get Cole nuclear heel heat on the biggest stage. But with that said, he’s not remembering that the rock put on stone cold’s vest, which one could say, is some pretty houseshow type of material, at wrestlemania of all places, and guess what? It friggin worked. The crowd went crazy for it and boo’d the hell out of him for doing so. Even though a lot of the stuff, MJF and Adam Cole, were doing here one could argue was some houseshow type of stuff, the bottom line is, how did the audience respond? They went absolutely apeshit for it! They loved every second of it. 81,000+ people in unison after sitting through almost 6 hours worth of action, were as emotionally invested in this contest, and every inch of that storyline of friendship, as possible. Jesus Christ… give it up mate?! AEW fans, with their CRAZED obsession with Roman Reigns and THE BLOODLINE, impotently trying to scientifically prove he ISN’T an all time great, while any childlike sissy fight over who is my FRIEND AEW dredges up, you all wet yourselves and squeal THIS IS LIKE THE BLOODLINE! Absolutely pathetic.

as much as I like these guys, I hated the finish. I felt like they should have either turned one or someone should have come out and laid them both out. What drew me to the building on Sunday was Punk, if he wasn't there I wouldn't have bought a ticket

Yeah I wasn't a fan of the finish either. Just felt like more of the same that we've been getting on tv. Like both guys but not a fan of the storyline to begin with although I know everybody and their mother is. I'm worried they're gonna tease this way too long.

They got the Double point "Double Clothesline" spot over to the point where they should've just done the Double point and let the crowd say Double Clothesline. They would've been itchihg to do it anyway and the crowd was taught it in the opening match if they didn't know. If they didn't say Double Clothesline, there'd be the plausible deniability that they both just thought they were gonna Clothesline the guy. Nitpick. But l feel like that's a little thing that the two guys in the moment just wouldn't think about until it's brought up by someone else outside of them putting the match together.

Chris was trained by Tyler Breeze and Shawn Spears. Chris is a hell of a promo and he takes everything seriously. I would genuinely love to hear Jim & Brian critique Chris Danger’s first match.
