Honestly and if anyone doesn't believe this comment, take in how the Bucks put on their Twitter bio that they saw the documentary and didn't cry once over it. Like obviously not everyone would get too emotional over this episode but like I grew a new found respect for Pillman Jr from this. The man went through losing his parents, a shit childhood, and possibly even depression, and still made it. It's such a fucking good story this young man has and now he is trying to follow in his dad's footsteps and become a wrestler but one that doesn't follow the mistakes his father did. It's a personal story but the Bucks use it as a way to push that they are heels... Fucking desperate and inappropriate. So many ways to come over as heels but they gotta do the asshole and cheap way and just shit on this man reliving his past.
And now imagine if some wrestler in AEW actually tried to listen to what Jim can do without even thinking about it beforehand. If just one of them tried. Just one... But no.
I was thinking the same thing. Brian Pillman should have either stayed with Court Bauer's Major League Wrestling or Billy Corgan's National Wrestling Alliance. Apparently there is no growth for him at All Elite Wrestling. It look like the Young Bucks is pulling the same politics in AEW like Hall & Nash pulled in WCW.

After Heenan, Cornette is probably the greatest wrestling manager of all time so this shouldn't be a shocker. Plus he managed during the days when promos were not scripted or restricted for television.

This just may be me nick picking, but Pullman Jr saying the bucks was why he got into the wrestling business, but we’ve seen DSOTR & heard him say it was Steve Austin calling him to return his dads weight belt to him being the reason he go into the business. They should have let the Varsity Blondes retire SCU. That's an accomplishment a young team can build the foundations of a career on and something they can use if they ever go heel. Nobody saw SCU's career-threatening matches on Dark and Eleveation that led to them being ranked no.1 and never got acknowledged on the main show besides a promo months ago. Bucks have more than enough heat.

By 9:30pm, I was struggling to stay awake. So I went to sleep right after Miro's promo. Didn't bother to see this match because I feel like if you've seen one Young Bucks match, then you've seen 'em all.
I wish he would change his ring gear. The speedo tights make his legs look even longer than they actually are, and makes him look like a job guy. If he would get some long tights, he would not look nearly as scrawny, and I could see him moving up the card. As far as his work goes, I think he is pretty good compared to a lot of the people in AEW, and has steadily improved since his debut. He could go a long way if he would toughen up his look just a little bit. He just needs a few minor tweaks.
Meh. I'd love to see NWA on TNT on Saturday mornings. Ross and Tony. Dustin as NWA Champ 🏆 and Corny managing Pillman and Adam Page with the NWA belts.

If Lance cut promos back in the day like he does on Twitter I know he would have drawn atleast 25 more people to every show. Somebody dropped the ball. If you can say one thing about Lance its that he was oozing charisma. I got it on me more than once

I'll admit I've seen aew about 10 times, and don't have much bad to say but doing what Eric bischoff did with bringing in wwe stars is the only real reason aew has the ratings they have. I don't believe twinkle toes, page and the bucks among others not many people know of could draw those ratings without the wwe guys.

The saddest part of all this is that The Bucks probably push and bully Tony Khan around because somebody like Cornette they could NEVER handle and he’d make em cry especially in his OVW days. They’d never make it a day in the real wrestling business.
That's likely because they missed all the heat generating details that made the Midnights great in the first place. It's a somehow sloppier version of when WWE tried to do the Goldberg push with Ryback

Vince I think knows this and is just going with it and making money whilst he can but TK is a just a goof who wants to relive the attitude era like a child and doesn’t care. I just don’t understand how anyone can even watch or care about it anymore when it’s so fake and badly done. HOWEVER, I do find myself getting mad at the business as it currently is, & it's because from my viewpoint , both promoters seem like they don't give a shit as to what their talent rosters do as in Vince doing the Zombie bs last week & Vince booking himself & Shane-Shawn & God from $ mark Khan's standpoint, the majority of the lazy & illogical booking he does every week. I know people see my comments & hear Corny's comments & think we're 2 old guys who live in the past & might not understand the fact that Corny worked for, worked with & learned under alot of legends in the business, most of them are no longer around, & as for me, I was trained by Skandar Akbar & worked for Ak, as well as for Les Thatcher, Dory Funk Jr & Harley Race, & those guys taught me alot ESPECIALLY when it came to respecting the business & taking it seriously among other things, that CLEARLY & OBVIOUSLY the promoters & current talent today obviously haven't learned & it shows by the way the talent works & the way their being booked today. Jim’s promo was so good , it’s sad once you watched the actual one . There was so much chaos in this match, it’s like Indy matches on a national tv .😂. As long as their ok with it I guess . The ending on the match was really silly . It’s like watching the Saturday night special at the local high school gym😂. Jim and Brian are spot on .
I was puzzled by this. 1) Julia Hart is inexpicably a manager because college guys need a cheerleader 2) Julia is 19, and has had maybe 10 matches - and AEW put her in a main-event spot ? 3) The Bucks did a "Bret Hart"-cosplay show (dressing in pink, giving away headgear (instead of glasses) at ringside, using the sharpshooter - Considering that Brian Sr. was part of the Hart Foundation its quiet weird they used Jr to get heel-heat on themselves. JUST GO AWAY BUCKS !
That was the best part of the match. I was weak af! But if you think about it, the Bucks kinda had it coming. Flexing on everybody with those Diors.🤷♀️
Jim says the Young Bucks buried the Varsity Blonds; Lance storm says one team went over (Bucks) and one team GOT over (Blonds). Lance also said he called up BPJ and told him he better thank the Bucks a thousand times for making him look good. Jim says, "They wrestle the same match whether they're babyface or heels"; Lance storm and Bryan Alvarez noted they do way less moves as heels. It's interesting seeing two groups of people watching something and their professional opinion being completely different.
Lance storm was a boring vanilla midget his entire career and no one remembers his matches so his opinion on what gets over today is irrelevant especially when he never got over when wrestling was popular.

Its funny i was complaining to a friend about them pinning bryan during the three way qualifier tag. Now they give him a title shot and flatten him. Opportunity instantly wasted, burned and cemented over.
