Cheshire Cat pretty much equals MAD pooh. Sterling Halloway was the original voice for all three as well as the stork in dumbo. All his characters had his real voice.

Yeah, him and Tony Jay were great. I hate that instead of using these amazing voice actors that really try to create a voice that fits the character, they now instead go for celebrities that don't do nearly as well.

Mainly for animated features is where they get more movie actors to provide voices for characters. This is mainly due to Hollywood stupidly believing that the public won't see a movie unless there are high profiles actors voicing the characters.

Jim is one of the last of an amazing generation of voice actors. Personally, the only guy better at it than Jim, is Mr. Mel Blanc. Mad respect to Frank Welker, Tom Kenny, Billy West, Rob Paulsen, Nancy Cartwright, and Tress MacNeille, but Jim just cannot ever be matched!

You got it. I'm gonna make a 12 minute video of me doing his characters Pooh Tigger and DarkWing Duck who will save the Hundred Acre Wood from MegaDuck and Pete. But i'm not adding Big Bad Wolf he sounds like Pete and no Kaa and Cheshire Cat because they sound like Pooh.

When Jeremy Irons couldn't finish Scar's song "Be Prepared" in the Lion King because he threw out his voice, Jim Cummings did an impression of Irons and finished the song. None of us have noticed the difference, he was so spot on I couldn't tell when the voices were switched.

Negaduck and Darkwing are totally distinguishable. Jim Cummings is a legend. Reminds me of how Kevin Conroy's Batman and Bruce Wayne voices are very different as well. 2 great legends.

Jim Cummings is one of my favorite voice actors of my generation. And he's done so much work outside of Disney too (I remember he did quite a bit of work on "Animaniacs.") At least he didn't make the Big Bad Wolf sound TOO much like Pete (even though both characters always had the same voice actor since the 1930s.)

Jim Cummings is an excellent successor of Sterling Holloway. Some of the characters he voices were originally done by Sterling Holloway and he does an excellent job mimicking that actor.

If you all ask me if I have got great talent,which I do. I can do all of Jim Cummings' Disney voices. Pete,Ray,Tigger,that Star Wars character,Pooh,Kaa,Negaduck,Don Karnage,Louie,Ed,Zummi Gummi,Monterey Jack,Fat Cat,Humphrey the Bear,Bonkers D. Bobcat,The Big Bad Wolf,Cheshire Cat,and last but not least Darkwing Duck/Drake Mallard. I can even do Voice impressions of other cartoon characters like Yakko and Wakko Warner from Animaniacs and more.

He is my favorite voice actor, and he has inspired me to follow my dream in voice acting. I hope I'll be as great as he is now.

I wish he did Scar in this video. I know Scar was voiced by Jeremy Irons, but Cummings did part of "Be Prepared" when Irons broke his vocal cords.

Then I would suggest you go and watch the noises that come out of Dee Bradley Baker, over 2 thousand voice credits to his name and every monster noise you hear is practically Dee. He is the most prolific voice actor of all time not to mention that he voices every single clone wars character

Ahhh, Jim Cummings! One of the best voice actors ever!!! Hs range is impeccable! Pooh, Tigger, Pete, Ray, Darkwing Dark, Ed, King Louie, Big Bad Wolf, Tantor, Kaa, Cheshire Cat, etc! If he ever retires, I know a great substitute, the Brilliant Brian Hull! Honestly, listen to his Pooh and Tigger. They're practically perfect. 😍👌
