Jim Lea live at the Robin 2 in 2002. His only real live performance since Slade stopped playing live in 1984. Don't forget to check out www.jimleamusic.com
Jimmy, you are one of my heroes man!, I was a big fan of Slade way back when and I have always loved your bass playing, and you even played violin with Slade on Top of the pops!!!
It seems to me that Jim was enjoying playing live , so why the hell dont he do it more often? This song is so mucdh better live than on record.... awesome
jim noddy dave and don please make a commeback we all miss your great sound even a one off concert for all your loyal fans come on lets feel the noise one more time please slade forever
This is a great song. God Ive got a little tear in me eye. God Bless you Jim and all you Slade fans worldwide. We really had somethin special and a helluva lot of our generation missed it.
Saw Slade first in1975 & by the time they stopped touring in 1983 I had seen them 98 times-meeting the band on many occasions-happy daze...............
@Chronepsis5 Before the internet I had only seen Slade in photos and maybe a couple of clips plus their movie. Its fantastic to actually see them as people, not just smiling faces in a magazine.
This is awesome. If this was given the slade treatment it would surely have been a hit , but then maybe not considering how slade were treated by the radio stations mopst of their later career. Love this . Keep crazee Slade fans.
love you jim love slade inc nod you owe it to us die hard fans to do a get back together ok the London olypics did not do it who cares just do it we die hard fans deversee it from Julie portman hotel.
First class performance from the ex Slade Bassman and fiddleist. All we need now is Noddy and Jim to reform the old Slade and kick some noize back in the charts.
