Jimmy, you are one of my heroes man!, I was a big fan of Slade way back when and I have always loved your bass playing, and you even played violin with Slade on Top of the pops!!!

It seems to me that Jim was enjoying playing live , so why the hell dont he do it more often? This song is so mucdh better live than on record.... awesome

This is a great song. God Ive got a little tear in me eye. God Bless you Jim and all you Slade fans worldwide. We really had somethin special and a helluva lot of our generation missed it.

Saw Slade first in1975 & by the time they stopped touring in 1983 I had seen them 98 times-meeting the band on many occasions-happy daze...............

@Chronepsis5 Before the internet I had only seen Slade in photos and maybe a couple of clips plus their movie. Its fantastic to actually see them as people, not just smiling faces in a magazine.

This is awesome. If this was given the slade treatment it would surely have been a hit , but then maybe not considering how slade were treated by the radio stations mopst of their later career. Love this . Keep crazee Slade fans.

Hey Joe on Official Bootleg comes very close to Jimi Hendrix version. And Far Far Away is far better than Slade's one.

Just great.....play this more than any other Slade track and I"m a one of their biggest fans.Think I"ll chose this to be played at my funeral !!
