This is my absolute favorite group of all time. and this song has even more meaning today than it did back then. with all the craziness that is going on in the world right now. man Noddy Holder can really sing. possibly the best in all of Rock and Roll. and Dave Hill was a very underrated guitarist. and Jimmy Lea was multi talented. and could play all the instruments. and often played more than one instrument at a time. and Don Powell was a very good drummer. as long as I'm alive I will listen to these guys. they are simply fantastic. the mighty SLADE.

They weren't during their peak 3 records straight in at No1 in the UK charts with Cum on feel the Noise and Squeeze me Pleaze me selling more in a day than most records like the Spice girls sold in a Year. When Slade were topping the charts you had to sell 1 Million records now 10 Thousand does it.

SLADE and SWEET were my favourites in the 70ies when I was around 15. Now I am at the brink of 60, and I still love this music. Its is superb and timeless.
Why doesn ' t anyone point out NODDY ' s INCREDIBLE VOICE in all the interviews ? All reporters who took interviews from them did nothing but reminisce funny things about their tours , but NOBODY EVER praised him for his EXTRAORDINARY voice ?

В 7-м классе я впервые услышал свои кумиров на бумажно-целлофановой пластинке,"БИТЛЗ.Песня называлась "Бетховен посторонись",не сказать что сильный хит,но все же.И понеслось,поехало,искание по друзьям и знакомы плёнок с записями западных групп.это было начало 70-х,когда "БИТЛЗ"уже распался,а я только его услышал.Но появились такие знаменитые группы как "Слэйд","Криденс",Пинк Флойд","Назарет"и другие.Хорошее было время ,слушали прекрасную Музыку,ловили кайф,влюблялись в скромных девушек."Не повторяется такое никогда" Спасибо.
