@@nathanpapp432 dude I listened to the Kevin Nealon interview. When David brought up Daddy Day Care, I cried. David was 26 when he had his internship in 2008. Daddy Day Care came out in 2003 when I was in sixth grade. Why was David watching that movie when he was 21 lmfao
David visiting the massage parlor and then having the handwriting expert examining his handwriting are 2 of the funniest fucking o and a bits of all time imo
Three things that made David so PERFECT for the O & A air: 1-He was devoid of meaningful life experiences 2. His social skills were seriously retarded 3. He was humorless
@@jerrycruz1709 god, that’s great. I hope you know from experience. I’ve heard other people say they’ve tried to talk to him about it when they were down there and he just walks away and refuses to talk to you. I found his LinkedIn and it shows O&A internship on his resume so obviously he’s not too busted up about it.
Considering how David runs as aways on the streets as soon as someone mentions O&A, imagine the way he must live with himself knowing there's hours and hours of radio footage of him on youtube with millions of views
Intern David was one of a kind. Seriously. You have your handful of legendary interns but David was such a personality and so iconic on the show that no one comes close. Any newer listeners that recently discovered O&A on here, I HIGHLY recommend listening to the entire Intern David playlist. He’s a radio gem. Lol
He works at the World Trade Center as a helper there and as Sam says when you ask if he was on opie and Anthony he literally says now and walks away fast that’s not a lie I tried on 3 different occasions lol
The Steve C produced era, especially at XM, was the golden age: Master Po, Danny Ross, Pat from Moonachie, Ramone, Ted’s Emporiums, Twitchels, Intern David, Blind Stevie, Pat Duffy, Than, Travis, ERock, East Side Dave, Travelling Virus Shows, Lilly from Ron n Fez, Bobby Kelly, Vos and Bonnie, Colin Quinn, Bill Burr, Jim Jeffries, Louis CK, the Ian Halpern fights, egg nog contests, etc etc etc.
I think Sam joined the show in 2005 By 2007 he was already part of the crew, he planned a lot of the main bits . He stirred a lot of shit. He had his mom on the phone multiple times for bits. Say what you want but you can’t say Sam didn’t put his work in. He’s a legit part of O&A
Funny how Sam quickly glossed over Pat Duffy because he knows he snaked him so bad on the show. The show when Duffy nearly kicked his arse and had him shaking in his boots is still gold
It is kind of annoying how Jim pretends he doesn’t remember things. He’s trying to either set up a joke or do what celebrities do and act like they don’t remember certain stuff in their careers.
12:39 for all the opie haters out there: this is one of thousands of bits on the show that he was responsible for that we all love. maybe he didnt have the funniest lines all the time like ant and the comics but to say he sucked is ridiculous. opie was a genius in his own way and a master of radio period.
Well….he has been doin it since he was 18. “Maybe he didn’t have the funniest lines all the time” is one of the biggest understatements I’ve ever heard. He stomped and shit on as many, if not more, bits as he created. Opie deserves the hate he gets and the millions of dollars and double-parked Subuaru are plenty of payment enough for his “contributions”, he doesn’t need any praise or white-knighting.
Without question the best intern of all has to be Lady Di....the week she was intern, she had a lot more better lines and moments than The Destroyer has had since 18 (then again, that's very little since Opie is totally TALENTLESS)
Why is Travis there? He’s the most uninteresting O&A employee they’ve ever had. Plus he supported Danny. The only thing he’s good for is goofing on his mom running off with a Jewish guy with a soup can wang, otherwise he can’t handle criticism, he’s not funny, not interesting ect
