Jimin is my bias! He knows lots of different martial arts styles and has a black belt in taekwondo and has a background in contemporary dance so you get the perfect balance of gracefulness, flexibility, and power.

Thank you Rob! I actually have not seen this- the is great. I noticed there has been a lot of 'new' Jimin compilations lately. He is athletic yet so elegant. He does have a black belt in Taekwondo and 8 yrs of Kendo (sword fighting). The new videos that have come out greatly details his athletic and dance achievements. How can one be so strong yet look and move so elegant? It was impressive to see and be reminded of his talents.

Jimin is astonishing - the things he can do, the control he has over his body. All this athletic and martial arts ability, along with impeccable dancing, beautiful dancing and amazing singing, not to mention his natural physical beauty... it's not fair. But I'm not honestly complaining. ;) FWIW, Jimin has a black belt in taekwondo, as do JK and Jin. I've also heard it said that when dancing, Hobi is made of rubber but Jimin is water. I think that's pretty accurate.

Yay, Jimin content! He has been my bias from the beginning of my BTS journey.

Jimin is a black belt in Taekwando and has studied several other Martial Arts including Hapkido and he spent years studying Kendo. And since he's a contemporary dancer he has elements of ballet and acrobatic going for him as well.

Jimin has a black belt in Taekwondo and he did Kendo (Japanese sword fighting) for eight years.

Jimin is incredibly agile and moves so elegantly...and his facial expressions are not strained even when performing difficult moves. His training in contemporary dance shows in the way the moves his body even while not performing. I am sad that he isn't able to train more in contemporary dance so he able to keep up his skill level as he matures. Flexibility and nimbleness are hard to maintain unless you practice a lot. But I'm glad members aren't required to strain their bodies now as they did when they began. It will be very interesting to see how they will mature as a group in their chapter 2, and beyond.

[Updated] A lot of his skills, and his very incredible proprioception - his awareness of where his body is in space, are due in large part to years of martial arts training. He has a black belt in taekwondo. He studied kendo, known as kumda or something like that in Korea, for 8 years. He studied other martial arts as well. I'm really surprised that this video didn't show anything about his martial arts work. I get the impression but I don't know for sure that his martial arts training started before any dance training.
