✨BTS‘ Jimin revealed the full track list for his upcoming second solo album, MUSE. According to billboard, article, the seven-song LP due out on July 19 KST (July 18 in other time zones), will feature the intro song “Rebirth,” as well as “Interlude : Showtime,” the pre-release song “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band” (featuring Loco), “Slow Dance” (featuring Sofia Carson), as well as “Be Mine,” “Who”, (single can now be purchased as presale aside from 2 versions MUSE album), and “Closer Than This” (which dropped in December.) Jimin, 28, wrote six of the songs, according to a release, composed, also finally listed as one of the producers for most of his songs, (though shown in Jimin’s documentary his involvement in producing all his songs), which also noted that the announcement from BIGHIT Music featured a vintage feel via images of old-school cassette tapes representing each song, with an overarching theme of “love” connecting all the tracks. The hip-hop/R&B-leaning focus song, “Who,” was produced by Grammy-nominated singer/producer Jon Bellion, along with Pete Nappi, Tenroc, Pdgogg and GHSTLOOP, with a vibe described as “intense bounce and guitar sound.” In addition, the pre-release song “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band” draws inspiration from marching bands, “blending hip-hop elements with the big band sound characterized by a large-scale orchestra, creating an upbeat, lively rhythm and dynamic atmosphere thanks to an assist from South Korean rapper Loco.” Other contributors to the album include Tommy Brown (Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber), as well as producers Pdogg, GHSTLOOP and EVAN, who also worked on Jimin’s first solo album, 2023’s FACE, which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart. Jimin’s official solo debut came with the 2018 single “Promise.” Five years later, he became the first South Korean soloist to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Like Crazy,” followed by FACE‘s “Set Me Free, Pt. 2” reaching No. 30 on the chart. Jimin is showing all types of genres. That means not everything will be to everyone’s taste. I love it because it’s happy and joyful, is a love song to ARMY, incorporates sign language in more than one place in the choreo (like the flutter at his chest while bowing means “joy,” and he spells “L.O.V.E.” in another section). I mean, what’s not to like about a song with so much heart? It was inspired by Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, too.

It's just a feel good, fun song. It's cute and carefree, welcoming everyone to join in and just be happy together. I think you need to lighten up and let your inner child out. No, it does not deter from the album at all. One thing BTS does is always surprise us.

The Truth Untold is a song sang by the vocal line and it's based on a tale. Smeraldo had a castle where he was hidden and used a mask because of his "ugliness." One day, a beautiful girl entered into the castle and stole some flowers. He observed the girl and found out she used to steal the flowers to sell them and have some money. He fell in love with her but was afraid of getting near and talking with her. In order to help.her, he created a new type of flower, extremely beautiful. But she stopped going there. When he decided to find her, fhe ound out she was dead. As you can see, Jimin is reverting the story, and he's offering the flower to everybody 😊 And he says it began on June 12... do you know what happened on that date? Army knows it! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 Oh! Listen to it more times. You'll see the more you listen, the happier you'll become! At least, that's happening to me 😅

I was actually thinking the same thing, that many army has now mentioned, in reference to the Beatles album. For me, an excellent clue already happened in the vid: “A Day with Jimin in NYC by vogue, (perhaps you might want to watch it), which was basically a behind the scene, filmed during the time Jimin debuted “Like Crazy” on Fallon show! It showed Jimin, before going to a dance practice, rehearsing Like Crazy for Fallon tonight show, going to a record store, along with producer Pdogg who not only worked along side of Jimin throughout both albums FACE & MUSE, where Jimin pulled out that very record by the Beatles Sergeant Peppers Lonely Hearts Club album! It seemed at the time a bit out of place, sort of unexpected? Now I wonder if it was planted there? I would think that that album might be highly collectible and not amongst a pile of records. But who knows? The background, as many have also mentioned, does also have a teletubbies feel about it! 🤔🧐😅👍❤‍🔥😍

Oooh! I am excited for the album. With th is track, it really shows Jimin's versatility. Set me free was iconic. Is iconic. But the thing about Jimin is he is not afraid to take a risk. With Set Me Free Pt2 he experimented on the production. The layering, rapping, distortion, etc. But with Smeraldo Marching Band, it's pretty raw. There was not much editing done as far as vocals concerned. I guess he was also trying to tie in with the theme of the track inspired in the 60s where there wasn't any big production going on at the time. But knowing Jimin you don't know what you gonna get. If you've listened to FACE album then you will definitely know how versatile that album is. How versatile Jimin is. So yes, I'm always sit in when it comes to Jimin's music.

The fact this was sung live, that already got me all hyped up and excited for the album. Jimin always bring a new look. Nothing is the same for this guy. He can carry any genres. This song is like the alternate story of, Truth Untold, which you gotta check out. The vocal line of BTS sang it. From not being able to express your feelings to expressing how you feel. It makes me actually more excited with the different possibilities he can show us. It’s not your style then it’s okay. He has another song that was realeased in Dec called Closer than This! It was made for Army and released after his enlistment! The video gives a scrapbook of their last 10 years!

Honestly, it didn't get me on the first listen. But, after the second listen...I have the ear worm that is "Oh I love you babe" running through my head. For me, sometimes it takes a few more listens to a new song. Sometimes, it hits me on the first listen like "More" from JHope. Loved it guys! 💜💜💜

I know that sounds very confusing it seems like a lot it is a lot! Lol 😆 The four vocalist of BTS sing this song which is mixed by Steve Aoki the famous DJ the song is called “. The truth Untold” this song also is based on an Italian fictional story, about a lonely man who lives in a castle who is very unattractive and this girl climbs the fence of his garden and takes a flower every night while he is sleeping the man notices that this girl keeps taking flowers but what is the reason behind it? Even though he’s very ugly he doesn’t want to show his face to the girl and as a young man when he was a child he was ridiculed for his looks therefore that’s why he locked himself in this castle. He’s very curious about this young girl and the reason why she keeps stealing his flowers and it’s a certain flower she only picks,so he follows her and he sees that the young girl is selling the flowers so that she can live because that’s her only source of income. He takes the seeds from the flower and he decides to create these the “. Smeraldo“ flowers for her so that she has plenty of flowers so that she can live and buy food etc. so at night he waits again to see if she will come and take the flowers but she never comes he keeps waiting and waiting night after night and she never comes finally he finds out that she had died.😢 In the Bangtan universe this story of the Smeraldo flower represents the truth the truth that will be untold! The each member of BTS plays a fictional character in the web toon “ Save Me: The Most Beautiful Moment in Life” there’s a lot to unpack here and I’m not going to explain everything because I’ve already gone long enough but if you wanna go down the BU this BTS lore there’s a lot to digest! so this will give you a little bit of the idea of what that flower actually means. BTS has a song "The Truth Untold" which is based on a heartbreaking story and the fictional Smeraldo flowers as a man grew the flowers for the girl but never got to speak to her to tell her or share his feelings or anything (because he feels he is very ugly so he wears a mask) before she eventually died. Here, Jimin is putting a positive vibe on the smeraldo flowers by spreading joy spreading love in this song, this is so beautiful with references to the past (June 12 was BTS debut showcase) and a march towards the future! hope you can check out BTS "The Truth Untold" live performance, thank you!

I'm sorry Jimin but that's a HARD pass for me. Pretty disappointed because I thought this was going to be right up all Armys and people alley but this is literally a kids song !!!I can’t Jiminaaaaa either. I can’t listen to it again. It’s like I’m listening to a kids song. The lyrics and the arrangement of the song were atrocious. Jimin deserves better.
