7 championships and 83 wins later, Jimmie Johnson decided to step away from full time cup racing to explore other racing opportunities. His final race was a smooth and unproblematic one, he was able to finish ahead of every non championship 4 car. He finished 5th in his final race which broke a 10 race streak without getting a top 10. His final season was not a proper send off for a legend of NASCAR, but in this race we got to see the brilliance of Jimmie Johnson one final time.
